Let's see how many people want to watch a 6 team league.
Let them go it alone.

I'd hope the other 14 would tell them to go fuck themselves as without us cannon fodder there would be no Premiershit League!

What a bizarre idea presented by the arch wanker Scudamore. How are International rights going to remain buoyant by reducing the competitiveness of the product? It's borderline backward.

Actually, why can't the 14 vote them out of the league?
Seems a much better idea to me.

perhaps, if everyone across the football spectrum hadn't so readily sold their souls to "sky" and "foreign investors" this top six situation that the true football supporters now feel so aggrieved about would not have arisen....as a nation we are going towards a very difficult period in our history and eventualy ordinary working class people will have a hard time, but football ie, premier leagues et al seem to have an unquestionable divine right to spend money willy nilly on a never ending escalating spiral regardless of how many come through the gate!!....maybe it will one day collapse like the proverbial house of cards, who knows but at least stoke city and their erstwhile owners haven't taken too much of the bait yet.but when theres so much money slushing around in a pisspot who wouldn't want to get their hands a bit wet!!,,,a hard rains gonna fall.

It surprises me how domestic rights are worth more than international rights.
Contrary to popular belief the Premier League's telly money distribution is lots fairer than most other countries equivalents. That should be protected and fought for. True, those six clubs are the biggest global attraction BUT so what? It's in their interest to help the smaller clubs along.
Although, given how some reacted to Lester's title victory a lot of fans would support a change to make them even richer.

Everton I'm not surprised as they have an international following that is very large, and they could easily make top 6 any year. West Ham, they're such a huge club, bless them ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif)

14 needed, unlucky, they'll never get enough from the rest of the teams! Everton throwing their 2 pence in I understand! But for two clubs that recently spent time in the tier 2 of English football is odd! Just reminds me of an attention seeking fool, trying to suck up and kiss arse!

I trust Coates was one of the 11 chairmen who told the big boys to go forth and multiply! The Daily Mail is reporting that 3 clubs, Everton, Leicester and Wet Sham, have sided with the big 6 so the indications are that Coates and Stoke are amongst the 11 who have not. 14 clubs need to back a rule change for it to happen so the forces of evil are 5 short at present. link

The global appeal and main selling point is the top clubs. Fuck them off and we'd be fighting for the scraps and relying mainly on the money they decide to give us. It would be like Welsh football...their biggest teams playing elsewhere reaping the benefits of more income, whilst the rest fade to being an insignificant little spot on the arse of football. But hey, at least the 200 who turn up to see Porthmadog Town vs Denbigh Town can see proper nogger eh

A very strange view.

Disconnect with the big clubs and the games up for teams like us, we are consigned to being forever a 2nd Tier or lower club. Our League Cup victory in 1972 will stand alone for all of history as the only domestic trophy Stoke City ever won in which all teams take part. Anything else we might win will have an '*' alongside it, *The best teams did not take part.

And Manchester City. Yep. Man City wer generally quite popular because they weren't the shit and their supporters had a homely mancness about them. Looking wider, Paris suddenly being hailed as a mega club is utter bollox. Traditionally Parisians don't like football and think it's beneath them because they prefer art galleries and expensive coffee. Then the Qatarians appear and they think they are Real Madrid.
