I knew they wouldn't be using it to fund hospitals because it never existed. I also knew it was a carefully put together image and soundbite designed to mislead the considerable number of voters whose only engagement with political discourse is to look at the pictures in the Sun or the Mail. To claim otherwise is disingenuous to say the least. So that's you from the remain and all the leave voters that know it wasn't to be spent on the NHS Now go tell the rest of the mardarses "all the leave voters" I know plenty who was convinced it was. Are you still trying to claim the £350m a week figure wasn't a lie? The leavers clearly tried imply that the money could be spent on the NHS. Apart from writing it on the side of a bus it was regularly repeated in interviews and press statements. Trying to disown that after the event by pedantic sophistry over the wording is, as I said, disingenuous at best.

There it is right there, perhaps the most unattractive aspect of UKIPPY Brexiters. If someone disagrees with their idea about what's best for our nation that means we're unpatriotic. How the fuck dare you say only people who think your way are patriotic! What arrogance! And you think people who are happy to hand over our sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats of Brussels is patriotic? Criminal is what it is. And that's the quality of debate I objected to throughout the campaign. Utterly simplistic view. I say cutting off our nose to spite our face is far more "unpatriotic". How patriotic is it to allow a handful of billionaires who pay no tax in the UK use their wealth and media leverage to decide our economic future?

Oh goody, when Brexit gets shafted we can all look forward to being forced into accepting our 'fair share' of Mamma Merkel's Millions... Or have action taken against us like Poland, Hungary & the Czech Republic.

If the dopey Tories had got their act together they could be acting with the anti-immigration countries to try and stop it - instead, you're all gobbling off at the EU instead of looking at other ways to get the job done. You've let your EU bogeyman divide and rule. But it's never you leavers fault is it?

How is Mamma Merkel inviting millions of 'refugees' into Europe anybodies fault but Merkel's? Leavers told you what the EU is like & what would happen, we have been proven right, again.

I'm done with this shit, if people can't see what's happening, fuck 'em.

The one thing I don't quite understand about the £350 m is who promised to spend it on the NHS ? A Bunch of political figures from various parties ? It isn't never has been a government policy

And here we have a clear example how the completely false £350m figure is still being believed even now. The point is the £350m was fictitious. And yet it was believed widely enough to have an affect on the referendum - as your post clearly demonstrates. Why was it so widely believed when it was so easy to disprove? Because the bulk of the tabloids provided the platform. How many front pages of the Mail or Sun did that bus appear prominently on? Did those papers ever provide any critical analysis of the figure? No, because Rupert Murdoch and Viscount Rothermere wanted to break us from the EU.

See my previous replies, the point was it's our money and can be spent how we want it to be once we leave, the 350m was pulled apart at the time, most people understand it. I decided to vote leave as its clear the EU is moving towards further political union with the final aim being a european superstate and that's a No to that from me.

Yep it's an urban myth just like no one said we were leaving the single market and no one voted to be poorer - no one did vote to be poorer but it was clear there is a short to medium term chance this might happen or do they think leavers thought the punishment budget was something to do with S&M These Eastern europeans have already turned their backs on Russia so I don't think leaving the EU would scare them, the Czechs should leave just for the comedy of calling it Czech-out !

First thing I saw was the news showing farage having a pint at a bar shouting happy Independence Day. Followed by a studio full of ashen faced presenters and journalists that looked like they'd just been told they'd lost their jobs. Not a patriotic breath in their lungs ever since Wasn't Farage's first interview where he said the NHS message on the bus was a lie? Sort of set the tone for the press I would imagine. It was nothing to do with Farage and showed the idiocy of the interview.

Germany is single-handedly responsible for creating one of the Middle East's most volatile and long-standing conflicts, because without the Holocaust the Jews would have stayed in Europe and we'd wouldn't have a State of Israel.
So if Germany wants to absolve itself of guilt by welcoming so many refugees (genuine or not), let them handle the burden themselves rather than resorting to their traditional MO of bullying their neighbours.
Watch out Austria, you may be hearing the word 'Anschluss' again in the next year or so.....

Quite possibly one of the most mental things I've ever read on here, especially from someone who often chips in to berate anyone who dares to suggest the West might have some responsibility for Islamic terrorism! Marydeepthroat levels of retardation! British Palestine? If a pipe like you agreed with anything I had to say, I'd be a worried man.
