Car giants Toyota and BMW have both warned a no-deal Brexit threatens the production of their cars in the UK. BMW told Sky News it could consider moving production of its Mini from the UK in a no-deal scenario. Separately, the head of Toyota's European operations said a negative outcome could put future investment at its UK factory near Derby at risk. Johan van Zyl told the BBC that if the Brexit "hurdles" are too high it would undermine Toyota's competitiveness. So if UK factories which produce cars to sell to the EU are relocating out of the UK, wouldn't the same be true for the EU factories who produce cars for the UK market? Logic dictates that all those UK bound BMW's built in Germany will be now be built in the UK. And do you expect that to be happening soon?

All these companies make three times more profit on any of their cars sold in the UK than in the USA and twice as much as in Europe. These compamnies will ultimately do nothing to affect their sales or production in the UK. At the moment they are just rattling Junkerâs sabre.

Ha ha, I wish I had put a Brexit acca on, I would be fucking minted now! đ Sadly this incessant Project Fear has permeated throughout the country and I think enough of the populace have now been battered into submission and this fucking awful concoction that May has developed will limp through. Meanwhile whilst Project Fear has bullied the UK populace the EU continues to implode. We will remain in an ineffective and dying organisation but have no authority, what a fucking abomination Theresa May has presided over. A fucking awful politician, a fucking abysmal PM and a complete and utter liar to boot.

Any Brexit supporter who voted conservative at the last election has got exactly what they deserve.

Yeh....project fear is scary isn't it. I prefer to call it "Project No Fucker Knows" Much snappier ring to it. I'm afraid this madness will reverberate in our society and economics for many years to come. Still... we will take back control eh..

I know it wonât happen, but any company that moves out of the UK citing Brexit should have their products or services boycotted. I will certainly keep a close eye on where I make my point on what a buy. Sadly there will be way too many who will just carrry on buying anyway regardless.

Project Fear is the movement that initiated this whole Brexit in the first place courtesy of the ReesMoggs, Johnsons and Foxs of this world, all establishment multi millionaires who stand to make even more bucks out of other people's misery. so now I guess you can bill it as Project Fear I v Project Fear II.....Great way to run a country!!!.... Fear has become the predominate way to mobilise masses since forever (from Third Reich to Trump etc) so ain't that new, but now seems just about the only way!

The sooner the House of Lords is abolished the better, and that's not just because of Brexit. Unelected cesspit - just look at them, with bloody Kinnock and Mandelson for starters !

Dominic Grieve is an absolute shithouse ! He's been determined to do anything to thwart Brexit. He's constantly been at the source of most Brexit amendments and motions with the sole intention of the MP's taking control of the Brexit process with his ultimate aim of overturning the referendum result. To hear him on the TV just really gets my blood boiling. Shithouse !

Helping Remainers out here.....sign up for the Renaissance of the beautiful ( for some) project Rather than sticking his big Frog nose into Brexit and also his desire for "a stronger , more democratic Europe" little Manu should first of all concentrate on putting his own country in order. Weeks, now months, of large scale protests across France with the police responding by using ever increasing Government authorised levels of violence, resulting in broken limbs, loss of hands, eyes, and ultimately numerous deaths. But no, he takes it upon himself to promote his vision for the EU. Well Manu, the people in your own country would be much happier if you spent your time sorting out the problems in France first of all.

Itâs not about where the car is built, it is about which market gives manufacturers the greatest profit, the prestige makers wonât want to lose their biggest profit margins. As for Leave supports buying foreign models you are another one confusing the EU and itâs dictats with our European friends.

So being an International Man of Mystery I'm signed up to UK Gov travel alerts. This one made me chuckle. French Customs officers striking because they're not ready for a No Deal Brexit.
"France travel advice:Â 4:23pm, 7 March 2019: Latest update: Summary â Passengers travelling from France to the UK via the Eurostar, Eurotunnel or northern ferry ports should be aware that industrial action by customs officers is causing significant delays to all services"

How does Parliament get to vote No Deal down, when a Times poll says that it is the most popular Leave option?
I thought they wanted to find out what we really wanted?

How does Parliament get to vote No Deal down, when a Times poll says that it is the most popular Leave option? I thought they wanted to find out what we really wanted? Because they're a bunch of arrogant, condescending, shysters who are mostly remainers who want to stop Brexit by any means possible, and don't give a shit about their voters wishes. Vote down May's Deal, vote down No Deal, vote for an extension, or vote for a second referendum. McDonnell has just been on Marr and said it's still on the table for Labour as it's something agreed at their last conference and is something their electorate would prefer. The Independent has the following article which shows yet again that the shysters are not listening. Brexit: Britain does not want long delay, reveals poll on eve of votes. (I can't do the link to the article at the moment.)
