Mostly this is just very sad There are obvious historical precedents for this type of behaviour Strangely the most strident supporters of this type of behaviour are the most fierce defenders of the 2nd Amendment on the right to bear arms. Yet are strangely silent on the 1st Amendment which protects freedom of Speech (Books) etc Quite astonishing these guys consider tolerance and inclusivity as "Woke" practices yet their only resort rather than engagement to win the argument is to forcibly remove If the US decides to elect this Bigoted Opportunist in 2024 they are welcome to him

Would be better if they just locked Murdoch up and threw away the key. A big fine to him is like fining me a tenner.

In Canada, Fox News is not allowed to be classed as a news channel, and is categorised as "entertainment". I have a feeling that CNN also fails to meet the Canada news standard too.

At his core Tucker is primarily a White Supremacist who fervently esposes the replacement theory You must be acutely aware of this with Youngkin as your Governor Trump was a convenient conduit to progress his American Exceptionalism Ideology, aided by ignorent Rednecks, which he sees as a natural progression from British Colonialism He regards Trump as a lightweight and not a true advocate, but he admires strongmen like Putin and Orban who espouse similar theories within their own Countries

Regardless, I can’t stand him.

Has Trump been arrested yet....? Can you be a bit more specific of the charges against him this time ? I know it's difficult to keep up with all the criminal and civil investigations and potential charges Trump is facing, I believe there were 20 at the last count I suspect Dutch is probably thinking of Trump's Hush Money payment to Porn Star Stomy Daniels to keep quiet about her affair with Trump The Grand Jury has recently heard the evidence of Stormy and Michael Cohen Trumps ex-Lawyer who actually made the payment for which he was convicted and given a 3 year prison sentence www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-lawsuits-criminal-investigation-capitol-riot-b1850205.html

He’s got such a murky past it’s hard to know where to start….. 😂 I genuinely don't see how he thinks he's going to have time to run an election campaign never mind a country, seems like half the US is suing him. Interesting that even with all this going on more republicans would back him than would back the Desantis fella!

Amazing how much support Trump still has - the bloke is just a big mouth and acts like a hormonal teenager yet bizarrely hes convinced chunks of society that hes on their side.
Hopefully an alternative is picked as i'd fancy his chances against an obviously senile Biden.

It's that he doesn't grasp the concept of not getting his own way. Spoilt baby

Biden and Trump two absolute whoppers that are unfit to be President.
One started the “fake news” bullshit and the other calls everything that goes against his narrative “disinformation”
Not looking bright for American if either of these two melts become President

Back in 2018 I drove 6,000 miles across the US. I wasn’t seeking political opinions, but was surprised at how many people would, upon realising I was English, would say something along the lines of an apology for Trump and that he was “not my president”. Now most of this trip was in the fly-over, red-shaded states where you would expect Trump to have lots of support. I found none. Ironically, the only time I came across a Trump supporter was in the relatively liberal city of Seattle. And he was the only one.
I suppose that if you’re pissed off that the guy you didn’t vote for got in, you would be more inclined to complain about him, but I did find that the general mood on the TV and out there in the general public was anti-Trump.

I think you needed to look harder. I can’t stand him. However, there is a big portion of the country that loves him (25-30% of the Republican base) and the remainder that would rather him than a Democrat. If they vote for him, he is “their President” even if they don’t actually like the scum bag.

Like making native American issued IDs illegal for voting. Or shutting down polling places or those that issue IDs in areas that don't vote the "right" way etc. Elections in a lot of states are intentionally stacked in non-free and non-fair ways. And a lot of the anti-democratic laws get through because states are first gerrymandered to fuck, then the state politicians change the rules to shift the presidential vote.
