The issue for me is how we get the ball to him. He seems to work best on balls threaded through on the ground, which is not how we generally play I think. Please advise.

In that context what harm has it done to SCFC?
All it could possibly do is fire up Berahino if he plays.

Considering he wouldn't play him and how he sharp he did look last night with basically 18 months off, I'd still say Pulis was a cunt in the piece yes! Great that sparky is actually getting him match fit rather than writing him off until summer! Could really cement him in the side and give him self belief! Good work marky mark |

We all know what he's like with vendettas, but I don't remember anything like this.
Shame it didn't leak before we signed him to bring the price down.
If its true, young lad with little guidance and lots of money makes a stupid decision. Wonder how many other players end up going the same way, as this is normally an 'anonymous' test.
The ironic thing is how we treat footballers with possible drug addictions and ordinary folk. Two tier society.

Clever on reflection this us so clearly an attempt to get the player withdrawn or over hyped ahead of the game , only Hughes will know what's right but one thing is for sure we need to be on top of our gamesmanship Saturday , no chance of 11 a side for 90 minutes . Off the field no course of action is too drastic fr the club to pursue in retribution for those behind this . |

Good work marky mark Firstly, he played for West Brom 4 times this season, so he has not been off for 18 months. Pulis wouldn't have picked him if he wasn't match fit. Secondly, unless I'm being dull, surely today's revelation means that he wasn't being picked by Pulis and sent away because of suspension not over weight and fitness issues. FYI: 'Any player who tests positive for a social drug out of competition is charged and subject to a sanction which ordinarily includes a suspension from all football activity for a period of up to six months for a first-time offence.
'They are also subject to target testing for a period of two years. The FA do not report the name of the player as this offence is not a WADA code offence and privacy allows for the player to undergo any necessary rehabilitation and counselling.'
