You said it was likely be the three thing. Indulge me mate. The names in their likely position. For future ref etc. Souttar, Banks and Silva are centre backs and McJannet (LB) and Tom Edwards (RB) are full backs, so maybe wing backs in this case. They seemed to play 3 at the back against Norwich the other day. Cheers for that Rog. |

Won 3-0 and into the final we go. Danny Jarvis with the goal. I have no idea who the other semi is. Did you see Jarvis's goal it was a fluke he mishit a cross, I was standing next to his mum and dad and even they said that was a fluke. The cross earlier he did down that side went into the trees i had to laugh. |

Notice England U16 are playing Spain at Leek tonight. Again, no sniff of Stoke representation - but players from Southend, West Brom, Fulham and Brighton all in the squad. As was noted last season, call-ups from 30-odd clubs for England age-group squads last season - and NONE from Stoke. Players from 43 clubs got call-ups the season before (NONE from Stoke!) We always seem woefully under-represented in this area. As one of only about 20 of these massively-funded Category A Academies for 4-5 yrs now, wonder what the explanation for this can be when you see some of the clubs that routinely get representation? No idea if Campbell is still in the shake-up after getting a few youth caps at Man City. Further to this, no Stoke representation in the U17, U18, U19, U20 OR U21 squads named today. Thought Campbell would have had a chance - but the Stoke drought goes on. |
