It does seem strange that we let him go but there's no way he'd have been given the chances here that he has at Forest.
The u23s have got a Staffs Senior Cup game on Tuesday. And with their numbers being depleted it will be a good chance for the likes of Edwards, Souttar and Campbell to make amends for Friday.

The U23s drew 1-1 with Norwich yesterday. Norwich took the lead in the first half, we equalised early in the second:
"51- GOAL! Stoke level! Devlin plays the ball through to NGoy who turns inside and bends the ball past Oxborough."
Norwich had a man sent off in the 68th minute, but we couldn't force a winner despite applying pressure (according to the tweets at least).

For future ref etc. Souttar, Banks and Silva are centre backs and McJannet (LB) and Tom Edwards (RB) are full backs, so maybe wing backs in this case. They seemed to play 3 at the back against Norwich the other day. |
