Notice Ben Brereton scored again last night. Still too early to know how good he's going to be, but releasing him at 15 certainly seems a bit of a mistake although suppose players do emerge at different rates. Forest fans seem to like him. Bit irritating to see a local 17-year-old emerging elsewhere www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=45494&page=14

Liverpool heavily linked. Seems a strange one.

I'd have loved to have seen him given a start up front during this run of only having Crouch & him as the only available strikers, instead he got hung out to dry on the wing every time.

I know what you mean but it's normally a good thing to give a young striker because they get more space to build confidence than playing down the middle. A loan to a championship or league one team could be good next season.

For me, he should be on the bench now ahead of Walters when both are fit.

And Bony. And if not Ngoy then Verlinden. Now is a great time to give these lads a chance. The goes for T.Edwards over one of the older right backs on the bench.

Edwards on the bench ahead of him at the moment. (is he any good?)

Can't Edwards play higher up the pitch? I was saying when were playing against Everton that i'd have him on over Afellay.

And could save us a fortune there in the next 2/3 years.

He'll need easing back in when he is fit.
