Ben Foster and Joe Allen both went on loan to Wrexham and did them no harm. A good loan, no point going to a league 1 club and not playing games.

He's only 19 and clearly lacking in confidence. If he can go there and do well it will be a great loan for him. It's exactly what he needs. At 19 I'd hope he'd be playing in league 1 or higher or making our bench and making sub appearances like N'Goy now is (whether this is on merit or due to the negligence of the manager in the CF department is another matter). He obviously had a setback with the death of his mother, but at 16/17 he was the shining light in our academy. He now barely gets a mention by anybody and there are a good 5/6 players it seems who are a lot closer to making an impact at first team level. Lets hope he goes there and sets the league alight! All true and it's for one reason, he's heen playing poorly. It could be any number of reasons and that's why I think at this moment in time that level is probably best for him. But he's got to go there and absolutely boss it I think. He can do it too.

Don't think there's anything wrong with a loan at Conference level at 19.
If there's no interest from higher up, what can we do?

I see we are trying to loan George Waring out again this window. Am I right in thinking his contract is up this summer? If so, given that he's 23 this year and he's failed to really stand out in any of his loan moves so far I'd be surprised if we offered him a new contract.

I'm sure i heard plenty of good words about the young lad. Good luck to him. People went a bit ott with him. But he could have a decent career if he can get some defensive nous. It'll be interesting to see how close to the first team he gets.

I know we'd all like to see n'goy get some time but we could really do with getting him out on loan to the highest level possible as well.

Oh, i didn't notice. Strange one to release him. IMO. He was never going to make it here and this allows him to make a career in football.

I doubt it, it reads like he's moving into their reserves etc so not sure Wimbledon can afford to pay for someone who may not make it. We might be covered in the future re a sell on via training fees but I don't really know how that works.

It's really good to see these lads going out on loan and I think they'll be followed by a few more.
Taylor, Lecygne and N'Goy will need one as the squad is too big really and they need games to progress.
McJannet, Dunwoody and Campbell can then take their places in the u23's and it'll be the perfect development for them all.

I thought he might have got a loan a bit higher up than that tbh. But again it's good he's out and playing football.

We ought to have arrangements with a number of nearby clubs at various levels of the non-league pyramid. That would give us a network, where we could loan out youngsters at different levels of their development.

But it's just about the right players for them and for us to send to them.
