Alright fellas,
I'm going to be on Arsenal Fan TV this week previewing the game and telling them exactly why we aren't so fond of them. So feel free to get out any of your feelings too!

Would rather you said that we don't hate them as we don't really care about them. We just find it boring the way they keep banging on about what happened 5 years ago.

Because they're a classless club with classless fans and they're the modern day ultimate victims. Their professional victim routine knows no bounds. When they win, irrelevant of how they got it (diving, cheating, help from the referee) they lack the necessary class to admit it, when they lose, they go all victim on us and blame everyone else. We beat them 3-2 last year because of the referee apparently. No wait, it was the same referee who disallowed Bojan's goal wrongly, gave a penalty for a dive and basically allowed Arsenal to ref the game at times. No. They can't have that. It's the refs fault, the FA's fault, the opposition are thugs, everyone's against us, it's a media conspiracy against Arsenal.
Arsenal are never to blame, they're perfect. Never in the wrong. Fucking hate them.

The total hypocrisy that stems from their club. Now I don't know if they have acquired a new set of fans that are tainting it for the rest of them, but I really doubt it.

One word answer - WENGER
|

|
Post by Deleted on Sept 9, 2015 11:38:42 GMT
A combination of things.
Firstly they're drama queens, when things are going well they claim they'll be competing for the league and when things are going badly they're just full on depressive and blaming different people/things left, right and centre. One second Giroud is brilliant, the next they call him a donkey. One second it's Wenger in, the next it's Wenger out. Makes anything they say incredibly hard to take seriously.
Secondly their internet fanbase is probably the biggest (atleast the most active) but for me, they're the ones that are the most dramatic and the publicity they get on the internet forums is through some really embarrassing fans, Ty is that embodied tbf. Them voting for every poll is one one hand sort of funny but on the other it does defeat the point of it and helps to make them stand out and look like tools.
Finally I think it has to be the fact that their stadium really is a fucking library, looks absolutely lovely inside and out but the atmosphere is really appalling.
I'm not 8 years old so I don't hate all Arsenal fans, I realise there are plenty that are just normal great people and every fanbase (I'm sure as hell not excluding Stoke's) has their dickheads. The problem Arsenal fans have though is that the dickheads in their fanbase are the most vocal of the bunch, probably the most vocal of the football teams on the internet. It serves only to make them look pathetic, and reflects poorly on their normal fans.

For me, it goes all the way back to the 70's when they robbed us in two successive FA Cup semi finals. I have a long memory of missing out on two cup finals because of the Arse (very appropriate name for them). More recently, it is the bad mouthing of us and absolute arrogance and one sided vision of their manager. Yet funnily enough, in 1954, the first football shirt my dad ever got me was an Arsenal one, soon got rid though and replaced with a proper red and white striped one. ps I forgot to mention some of their mouthy asshole "celebrity" supporters such as Piers Morgan, Alan Davies, Dara O'Brien.

I've never liked Arsenal, though I did have a weird sense of respect for them during the Bergkamp era. I don't pay much attention these days, but it's due to their players- vile, cheating or sleaze type blokes- Giroud, Wilshire, Cazorla, Flamini. Typically, the kind of cunts that take selfies and rehearse goal celebrations. Also due to the fact that many of their fans (both famous and the ordinary man) are cunts that know very little about football. That's the best way I could describe Arsenal really, sleazy.

Everybody except the Welsh, calcium deficient ewe and his despicable manager saw the incident as a complete accident which left Ryan in bits for months trying to reason with the twats. But no Ramsey is a vile human being and Wenger ten times worse as they both sort to make gain by continuing the war of words desperately trying to make Ryan out to be nothing more than a thug. They are still trying tbh. Sometimes wonder if the club taking legal action for the libel and slander perpetrated upon our captain by these maggots might have been the right way to go. Many people on this forum advocated this for many months after.

Wenger trying to turn football into some non-contact ballet involving a round ball.
AND getting all the media to listen to him.
You should definitely mention the George Graham 1- nil years with winners like Tony Adams & Lee Dixon, Steve Bould etc.
Aresenal fans only have memories since the start of the Premier League

Wenger
once he is gone I reckon relations will normalize
i.e. we still won't like each other but the hatred will disapate.
However they still have a very large % of fake fans/'new' fans
old school Arsenal fans are a different kettle of fish, more time for them.

I don't mind them now and would go as far to say I like how their club is run and wish them success. If you turn the clock back to 2008/09 you had a team, manager and set of fans who believed in the nonsense that there's 'right' way to play and in some quarters this was prioritised somehow morally against winning the match. That first loss at the Brit brought out the worst in Wenger, he blamed everyone except himself and the players but he doesn't really do that now. I think back then the Arsenal fans bought it to some extent but are more aware of some of his short-comings. That all said I think we need Arsenal to win the title, be successful in Europe and have a period of domination because the way they've invested is exactly how all football clubs should grow (excluding their ticket prices). We don't want the story of the Premier League to be you have your place and you can't move without a rich owner. I know Swansea have bucked the trend for the middle order clubs like ourselves but it would be good if that message was made to some of the bigger clubs. Wenger was right and football has changed and has become more technical in England over the past two decades thus matching his mantra - so why can't they win a title? God knows.

Plain and simple, the 2 Cup Semi-Finals in 1971 & 1972 , especially Hillsborough. I was only 10, cried all the way back to Stoke :- news.bbc.co.uk/local/stoke/hi/people_and_places/history/newsid_8472000/8472714.stmand then that bl@@dy off-side goal at Goodison, still makes my blood boil. I don't particulalrly dislike many clubs , working in the South I come across supporters of many and understand why they support 'their team'. Having said that I do dislike Birmingham (even though I'm married to a Blue-nose offspring (........quite a fit Blonde though)). I don't even really dislike the Fail , but I HATE Arsenal

It's an elephant in the room but the whole Ramsey/Shawcross situation majorly pisses me off, it was an accident and that's all it was but they've never let it go, Wenger has single handedly put a huge smear on Stoke City and Shawcross since then and used the situation to try to soften the premier league as a whole
The fans are on another level too, they circle jerk each other and call each other classy while at the same time acting like the vilest scum on the planet, just search "Stoke" on twitter on saturday and prepare to be disgusted
I am pretty sure that 90% of them only exist to fix twitter polls and mangle statistics to prove that Alexis is a much better player than Messi

They cheated their way to 2 FA Cup finals v us in the 70s. They are the only club in history, to have a player break his leg. They think Fooball is a none contact sport. They cheated their way into the football league. Their fans are all Cunts. Their Manager is a Cunt. Their players are all Cunts. They think they have a God given right to be awarded 3 pts against teams like Stoke. They thing tippy tappy football is only played by them. They take all their players into hospital and have all their calcium removed. Last but not least, Wilshere plays for them.

Their fans. If you're a teenage/early 20s 'hipster' with no interest in football, you'll choose to 'support' arsenal and wear your oversized home shirt with your Nike Huarache's and bandana whilst pretending to enjoy your can of red stripe. Arsenal are a fashion statement amongst today's youth and it makes me want to puke.
The fans that don't fall into that category tend to be another set of people with no clue about football who will turn up to the Emirates to park their chino covered backsides on the leather seats and hardly watch the game because they're busy taking selfies with their fucking iPads. The only players they know are the ones they follow on Instagram.
Aside from the fans, Jack 'hold me back' Wilshere comes in just behind John Terry and Diego Costa in the 'thundercunts of football' world rankings.
