Oh, and there's these bellends... Short of sounding like a cunt, I always find these guys end up sounding like raging homosexuals every time they do a song. They just can't help it. They do a song absolutely ripping Ashley Cole about the whole gay orgy lark, and they just end up sounding massively gay themselves, like every other line is about something being shoved up a blokes arse and him enjoying it. Surely they must see the irony in singing an entire song about that? Tell me after watching that video, you don't think the singer is out and out gay.... which is even more ironic considering he's the guy who sings a fundamentally homophobic song directed at one of their former players. Perhaps it's intentional.

Their fans. If you're a teenage/early 20s 'hipster' with no interest in football, you'll choose to 'support' arsenal and wear your oversized home shirt with your Nike Huarache's and bandana whilst pretending to enjoy your can of red stripe. Arsenal are a fashion statement amongst today's youth and it makes me want to puke. The fans that don't fall into that category tend to be another set of people with no clue about football who will turn up to the Emirates to park their chino covered backsides on the leather seats and hardly watch the game because they're busy taking selfies with their fucking iPads. The only players they know are the ones they follow on Instagram. Aside from the fans, Jack 'hold me back' Wilshere comes in just behind John Terry and Diego Costa in the 'thundercunts of football' world rankings. So so accurate.

Because they are a team full of self-obsessed under-achieving cripples. Particularly Wilshere.

Still, nice gif.

They cheated their way to 2 FA Cup finals v us in the 70s. They are the only club in history, to have a player break his leg. They think Fooball is a none contact sport. They cheated their way into the football league. Their fans are all Cunts. Their Manager is a Cunt. Their players are all Cunts. They think they have a God given right to be awarded 3 pts against teams like Stoke. They thing tippy tappy football is only played by them. They take all their players into hospital and have all their calcium removed. Last but not least, Wilshere plays for them. A nice little list to keep you going Elliott Good luck with the interview

1971, 1972 plus their back 4 from the 70's (and Storey) - drawn from the ranks of Das Reich SS division Arrogance of players and supporters. The worn grooves in their pitch 30 yards out from goal where they pass to each other all day long. Last minute goals.

This is a great answer I live in a village in Cambridgeshire where their 'fans' swan around in the Arsenal shirts having most likely never having been to a match like they own the place. They have no interest in putting in the effort to actually support the club in person, just to superficially associate themselves with the brand. They are happy to say that 'Stoke are shit' based on their small minded interpretation of Stoke fed to them by the Daily Mail / celeb wanker Arsenal fans (Piers fucking Morgan!!) and have no apprection or understanding of what spending years watching your proud club getting turned over in the football league and what it means to finally be 'back' and how diffiuclt getting 'back' is for normal football clubs. They want all of the 'trappings' without any of the heartache or emotional investment and have no idea what real football supporting entails.

This probably sums it up for me and represents so much of whats wrong with modern day football. The Arse are the 'go to' choice of media darlings and glory hunters who want to appear 'cool'. Its no surprise that arch wanker Piers Morgan is a fan and I wonder how long he has my suspicion is maybe 10 years since football became a new 'rock and roll' Also Wenger has disrespected our club and our club Captain on a level that beggars belief, I can't think of any other manager who has shown this level of disrespect to SCFC. As long as Wenger is in charge we should NEVER do any transfer business with him. Their players are in general are card waving primadonnas. The image of Ramsey lying injured and the only player remotely interested in how he was was our own Glen Whelan, the Arsenal almost to a man had only one thing in mind and that was intimidating the referee. Very little in football makes my blood boil other than Arsenal.I can just about handle the loathsome Manure and Chelsea. Having said all that the pure joy of beating them at the Brit and hear the whining from their manager players and fans is just about the best natural high.

They are not a British club, they are French. They want to stop football being a contact sport. Most of their regular attenders wouldn't want to be seen north of Watford. The vast majority of their so called "supporters" have never/rarely been to a match. Their fans are supercilious, arrogant, and basically ignorant, like Piers Morgan. They are part of the football "establishment" who think they have a God given right to rule football and win trophies. Most of their "supporters" are only "supporters" for the reflected glory and too snobbish to be Chelsea or a northern club fan.

Wow, this is like your specialist subject coming up when you're watching mastermind.
I could say that it's a long standing thing from them cheating us out of Wembley twice in the 70s, but I won't.
I could say that it's because they're the original MK Dons, moved across London because their chairman didn't like Spurs, but I won't.
I could say that it's because their manager think that it's acceptable to attempt to destroy the careers of different footballers through the press so that he gets some more decisions off referees, but I won't.
I could say that it's because their manager seems to be stunned and offended by the bad reception he gets at Stoke, as if he has done nothing wrong, but I won't.
I could say that it's because Arsenal is the graveyard of English talent, where promising youngsters go to learn a trade but instead become ravaged by injury and pick up a serious attitude problem, but I won't.
I could say that it's because of their hordes of internet 'supporters' with no real affiliation to the club, all of whom seem to have a poorly written, pretentious blog, but I won't.
I could say that it's because they are the biggest cheats in the country, whose players dive and fall over with a sickening sense of entitlement at the mere sight of a challenge, but I won't.
I could say that it's because they are incapable of learning the difference between a hard but fair challenge and a violent assault, meaning that Arsenal are the country's worst offenders for real horror tackles, but I won't.
I could say that it's because their performance at Stoke in the game where Fabregas tried to maim Danny Pugh was one of the most disgraceful exhibitions of sport that I've ever seen, with a lack of sportsman ship that would even make Neil Warnock blush, but I won't.
Ultimately, it comes down to a total clash of cultures. We are thesis, they are antithesis. We are old football, they are new football. We are founder members of the football league, the second oldest league club in the world and architects of the game. They are founder members of the Premier League, a plastic club that is the original MK Dons and the heart of what is wrong with much of modern football. We believe in hard but fair play and hate cheats. They believe that players should be protected and hate good, old fashioned tackles. We are locally owned and have a 90% local fan base, while they are owned by an internationally diverse bunch and are more interested in tourists. Our chairman is from a poor family in Goldenhill and worked his way to the top. Their chairman is called Sir Chips Keswick (!) and is a merchant banker who went to Eton.
We were never going to get on. I enjoy the rivalry, but I do wish that they'd see the light and come over to the side of good.

I can't stand the media coverage and the lazy journalism which this game still attracts, instead of actually doing any real research into the two current sides and form, journos simply like to talk about the animosity between the teams without ever considering the part they actually play in fanning the flames year in year out.
I can't stand the way history has been rewritten surrounding the Shawcross tackle, given that the day after, to a man, the press and ex players alike were of the opinion that Ramsay's injury was a pure accident, now it's regarded as some benchmark for horror challenges, of that it certainly wasn't.
I can't stand foreign Arsenal 'supporters' talking about Stoke as a place and Stoke City as a football club like they have a fucking clue what we're about or indeed what they're fucking talking about.
I'm sick and tired of the entire annual circus which surrounds this fixture actually.
I think it's safe to say Stoke have progressed plenty since 2010, yet yearly this match is regarded as a clash between football ideologies. It's horseshit.
Whilst I still believe the way Arsenal, Arsne Wenger and Aaron Ramsay conducted themselves following the injury was utterly pathetic and a sad sign of the footballing times we live in today, I'd just rather treat this match as any other these days. Fucking hell, Shawcross won't even be playing (sadly).
