Brilliant news, here's looking forward to the return of decent socialist values and Corbyn as PM in 2020. My sides Labour have just condemned it's voters to at least 10 years of Cameron. This Trotskyite will struggle to get as many votes as Miliband did.

"In the end it was a crushing victory, with Jeremy Corbyn scooping up almost 60% of the vote. For all the months of talk about £3 'entryists' stealing the election, Corbyn won massively among full members. And for all the apocalyptic warnings from Tony Blair, Corbyn achieved a bigger win than even he managed in 1994. The scale of Corbyn's victory was the final insult to the man whose repeated interventions in this race did more to secure Corbyn's win than anything the man himself did in recent months. And that scale should not be underestimated. It was the biggest win for the Labour left in its history. Even Ken Livingstone's defeat of Frank Dobson in 2000 pales in comparison. And it was all done in the face of massive opposition from the Labour establishment and almost every newspaper in the country."......

You were one of the idiots that thought the British public would be stupid enough to elect a snivelling Marxist like Red Ed as Prime Minister.
You were an idiot then and you're an idiot now.

I said I hope he does get elected because that will be the end of the treacherous Labour party. He'll never be elected as PM and deep down you know he won't

This thread's a pisser. So many right-wingers are shit scared that a party for the people are back on the rise... And even more, so-called ex-Labour voters, who're even more scared that a party for the people is on the rise.
Down with poor people I say, who do they think they are clogging up the bottom rung of our ladder.

Six of the shadow cabinet have resigned today ........ Excellent news. Actually it's not great news at all. I know of 12 Labour Party members in Manchester who, this afternoon, have revoked their membership of the party. With many Labour MP's now stating they are refusing to serve in any Corbyn Shadow Cabinet over precisely the same concerns I had - namely unilateral disarmament and NATO withdrawal - it looks like Jeremy Corbyn could prove to be quite devisive. Clearly it's very early days but, as I said, keep your eyes on who becomes Shadow Chancellor. If it's John McDonnell then, ironically, Labour could go nuclear.

Red Ed didnt even challenge the myths surrounding 2008 and austerity, he wasnt authentically anything and thats what counted against him. As much as his policies its Corbyns authenticity that has won him this. Its going to be enterntaining watching the other politicians realising this and trying desperately to be more authentic.

So sal are you in the left wingers must be more intelligent camp ? cheap shot if you do I wouldn't bother ....she changes party allegience at every election . She was green last time . Absolutely, how many more socialists like me went Green because they couldn't see Labour having a socialist leadership again in their lifetime? That's why I'm feeling so inspired today. Whereas you, who are essentially a Tory, could keeo voting Labour for years as they moved further and further to the right.

Labour needed a unifying figure. It looks, on the face of it, as though they've now got the precise opposite.

Labour needed a unifying figure. It looks, on the face of it, as though they've now got the precise opposite. I think you might find the opposite. I may be wrong but the other three were a continuation of tory lite labour, so hardly surprising that the majority of existing members voted for a change.
