Zero sadly. Regardless of the injury until Woy leaves that post, Ryan won't even be in consideration and instead we will have to suffer the likes of Smalling, Jones and Stones. Id imagine Tyler Blackett is ahead of Ryan. ![](http://www.feintzebra.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/roy-hodgson-ponders.jpg) putting Stones' name in the same sentence as Smalling and Jones is laughable mate. Stones is a damn good player and will be around for years to come whereas Smalling and Jones are 2 utter fuck knuckles who have the same footballing ability as Stephen Hawking with a flat battery at this present time I believe Ryan should be in over all three of them, no doubting that Stones, potentially, is going to be a very good player but right now, Ryan should be in way ahead of him. I won't mention the other two.

Have to feel a bit for the likes of Danny Ings, Saido Berahino and Charlie Austin as well.
Yet again we have to make do with Danny fucking Welbeck and a half fit Danny Sturridge.
Kane fully deserves his place but will no doubt be used as a late sub by ol' owl face in a meaningless friendly, replacing Welbeck on 84 minutes.
Bravo Woy you absolute fucknugget.

How old is Carrick ?...33? We are in a group that fucking Bury would get out of and Carrick will be 35 come the euros do seriously is that planning for the future and giving players experience ? It's utter bollocks I agree with you there but Woy showed long ago he doesnt have that kind of foresight. Hes not capable of creating a team for the future. Its an easy group but he will still make a scrap of it and needs the best players hes got, which right now is Carrick. You really haven't got a clue have you? Suggest you take over from old Uncle Woy, the FA would love you. What a joke the England set up is, in a way once again I am relieved that Ryan has been spared from dirtying himself by associating with the useless idiots. Echo the hope that he goes to another National side and puts two fingers up to the lot of them. The FA have consistently over decades (with a few exceptions) picked and preferred yes men as managers......rotten to the core, total joke.

Those are the same red and white tinted spectacles that thought Begovic was the best keeper in the league until recently. Name me a better centre half who is in the squad. indeed from an England fans point of view I think Cahill is one of the 4 best we have. Jageilka has had good games but as has been discussed is 1: old 2: having a below par season. England really ahve a problem in defence & recent injury regardless its insane that Ryan is not in the team (not on the bench,in the team). 3 left backs again (none of which are Ryan Bertrand). I think the strikers are strong,Wellbeck has done well for England since the summer & deserves to keep his place. Ings,Berhahino (& maybe Austin)are all be worth a look but Kane is the outstanding pick of the uncapped strikers this season. keepers are fine.

At least Butland is in, sort of.... Roy Hodgson explains why there are only two goalkeepers - Joe Hart and Fraser Forster - in the squad. "One of the most interesting things, you'll probably think, is the absence of a third goalkeeper," he said. "That's because we regard Jack Butland as the keeper in that position but our under 21s have a game on Friday so we would prefer him to stay and play in that game. "But he will be our third goalkeeper and will come with us if anything happens to the other two keeper in training or during the first game."

I don't know why I continue to be bothered by it. It's just beyond joke now. Southampton appear to have just about managed to make it onto the list of "Clubs you're allowed to choose players from."
I've cast my eye over it and, at a push, I can see about 12 players that deserve to be there on merit: Hart - Good keeper Forster - Good keeper Baines - Best left back we have Cahill - Best CB we have (Shawcross aside) Clyne - Best RB we have Henderson - No arguments Lallana - Probably just about done enough Milner - Having a good season Sterling - Having a good season Kane - Obviously Rooney - Our best player, like it or lump it Sturridge - Very good player
The rest is just absurd. I like Carrick as a player but he's never even been a regular for England in his prime. He's only a couple of years younger than Gerrard and Lampard. Delph has been gash whenever I've seen him play. Barkley has been crap this season. The inclusion of three left backs (two of them not even regular starters and Baines who has been injured) and the usual RIDICULOUS decision to include Smalling and Jones just makes you wonder what the point of it all is.
He might as well decide at the beginning of the season who he's going to pick from a list of the 30 usual names and go from there. No point in players like Shawcross, Austin, Berahino or Noble even bothering. I'd be looking at my heritage to see who I could play for internationally if these over-rated, overpaid fucking dickstinks get picked no matter what by a clueless, unlikeable buffoon.
If I were one of the teams like us, I'd tell him to fuck off if he ever wanted to come and watch a game at our stadium. Absolute garbage, yet again. But because he's picked enough players from the usual clubs, nobody will mention those who have missed out. Half of that squad don't deserve to be there. I know there are limited options in certain areas and a complete overhaul is never going to happen but it's just beyond a joke.

When Ryan is on top form and injury free, propelling us up the table with fine performances he cannot get a in, Dickhead Hodgson would rather give handjobs to out of form Jagielka, injured Jones, inexperienced Chambers or plain shite Smalling. If he can't get in then, what chance now? It would be ironic if he got a call now though after missing the last month and a half, but won't be holding my breath. If I was Ryan I would play for Wales, and I am as English as they come by the way I agree, maybe MH will encourage him to reconsider his situation

Jagielka ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/wMWjB17JNiCK5pUPtfmL.gif) Jones and Smalling are in there. And you think Jagielka's funny! Smalling is fucking wank but has been in vastly better form this season than Jagielka who has been nothing short of a joke. Speak to any Everton fan on their view of his inclusion in the squad. They find it hilarious.

No, but thats nothing to do with Shawcross. How do you figure that? Ryan has been infinitely better than him for ages yet the Everton man is in the squad. I'd argue it's got EVERYTHING to do with it.

I could maybe understand if he had chosen to call up John Stones who I think is a really talented player who will only get better and has, from what I've seen, been carrying Jagielka on his back for this entire season.
But why Jagielka. He's been fucking shit.

i think the point he's making is that you seem quite passionate about the players he's picked as being ones that shouldn't have...in which case he's quite right to point out that it's a bit daft to get so het up when you yourself admit you're only basing it on a couple of games you've seen.

Oh get off your high horse for once Mick. I can't be frigged getting into a debate. How else am I supposed to gauge an opinion? I don't need to watch every minute of every game to know that much of this squad is a fucking joke.
He's only mentioned Delph because he's a Villa weapon who's on here for no other reason than to ram Villa down our throats even though they're fucking dump.
Like I said before, it's never going to be completely overhauled and Delph has been in the last couple of squads so it was unlikely he was going to be dropped. Doesn't mean that he's been in brilliant form all season, does it? Maybe calling him gash was harsh, he just doesn't do anything that stands out. The odd good goal and the odd bad tackle. Nothing more, nothing less.

not about being on a high horse more about you needing some fucking anger management mate and realising that getting so het up about something that by your own admission you know very little about (i.e. Delph's form) is just daft and makes you look like a dick (no change there then) calm the fuck down...you'd be the first to go mad at someone if they called Ryan "gash" on the basis of watching 3 games all season. stop being a prat and chill the fuck out Mr. Angry

Support a different nation ? Fuck me I've read it all now I didn't say I would! fair point.....you actually said you'd want your own nation to lose just to prove a petty point; that's actually worse i could understand if you though that getting someone else in as manager would dramatically improve us but the fact is that in terms of results in qualifiers Hodgson is doing a good job. in terms of performances at major tournaments he falls down..but then again so has EVERY England manager in history apart from Alf Ramsay. if you think that bringing in someone else who'd pick the squad you want would make us contenders then you're just deluded and instead of looking at the facts (i.e. no matter what England squad anyone selected we're just not good enough to compete for trophies at intenrational level) you're just using the age old lazy excuse of "Blame the manager"
