At least with a Monday night KO we will be in the 5th.rd. draw. On the flipside, as has been mentioned already, if the draw is something like Chelsea v Rochdale/Stoke or Arsenal v Rochdale/Stoke then the motivation decreases, not suggesting that's the case amongst the players but certainly as supporters it'll be deflating to know that the incentive is a trip to Stamford Bridge or the Emirates. Had a look at how we'd done against lower league sides since 2008 and i've come up with this uninteresting read. Record in cup competitions against lower league opposition since promotion to the Premier League... FA Cup 3rd Rd - Hartlepool 2-0 Stoke City League Cup 2nd Rd - Cheltenham Town 2-3 Stoke City League Cup 3rd Rd - Stoke City 2-2 Reading (4-3 pens) League Cup 4th Rd - Stoke City 2-0 Rotherham Utd League Cup Quarter-Final - Stoke City 0-1 Derby County FA Cup 3rd Rd - Stoke City 3-1 York City League Cup 2nd Rd - Leyton Orient 0-1 Stoke City FA Cup 3rd Rd - Stoke City 1-1 Cardiff City FA Cup 3rd Rd Replay - Cardiff City 0-2 Stoke City FA Cup 5th Rd - Stoke City 3-0 Brighton League Cup 2nd Rd - Stoke City 2-1 Shrewsbury Town FA Cup 3rd Rd - Gillingham 1-3 Stoke City FA Cup 4th Rd - Derby County 0-2 Stoke City FA Cup 5th Rd - Crawley Town 0-2 Stoke City FA Cup 3rd Rd - Crystal Palace 0-0 Stoke City FA Cup 3rd Rd Replay - Stoke City 4-1 Crystal Palace League Cup 2nd Rd - Stoke City 3-4 Swindon Town FA Cup 3rd Rd - Stoke City 2-1 Leicester City League Cup 2nd Rd - Stoke City 3-1 Walsall League Cup 3rd Rd - Tranmere Rovers 0-2 Stoke City League Cup 4th Rd - Birmingham City 4-4 Stoke City (2-4 pens) FA Cup 3rd Rd - Stoke City 3-1 Wrexham League Cup 2nd Rd - Stoke City 3-0 Portsmouth P 23 W 18 D 2 (replay won both times) L 3 (Hartlepool 08/09, Derby 08/09, Swindon12/13) 21 different lower league opponents, beaten 18 of them. Not too shabby.

Still think we'll sell quite a lot. Perhaps not the 3,600 but maybe 1000 or so less.

According to their website normal matchday prices apply for our FA Cup game. The away stand is £20 adults. Typical Stoke regarding communication, no mention of anything on the Stoke website.

A little harsh. Perhaps there are still some details to be agreed on when Rochdale can provide the tickets, police consultation about how many tickets we are going to get, whether our tickets will be seat specific or unreserved etc

It's good for me, I'm working 12 hour day shifts Fri-Mon so would've been going through my usual Saturday afternoon shenanigans of trying to listen to it on the sly on the Player, now I'll get home just in time for kick-off.
I can understand it's probably pissed more people off than it's pleased tho.

I think there was enough demand in the first place for us to sell the allocation. Even if we don't, it'll still be good number I reckon

For some bizarre reason my points don't show up in my account online, they show up for ticket office staff when I ring tho', could be because I book my tickets over the phone most of the time I suppose.
