No big surprises in Round 3 in the end unless you count Sheffield United turning over QPR so it is pretty much lining up as the great and the good of English football so not many easy ties.
I think we have been in the Premier League too long now to get excited about playing a "Sky 6" team so what we most need is a winnable tie.
I'd take either Cambridge United or the winner of tonight's game between Scunthorpe and Chesterfield.
Away in either case would be more fun for anyone planning to go and also make it more likely to be on the TV for anyone planning to watch at home or in the pub.

A home tie please and hopefully we avoid teams like Chelsea & Man City. All being well there will be some big all premier league ties that will see big clubs being eliminated too.

I'd quite like a home tie v Man Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool if they get through.

I'd quite like a home tie v Man Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool if they get through. Seriously? I'm not sure it would be anything to get too excited about since we will already have played Man United twice, Arsenal twice and Liverpool once in the 8 weeks leading up to the game and it would quite likely draw a line under our participation in this years competition. Each to his own of course

What decides which team gets which numbered ball? I see we are ball 3 - higher up the list than usual?

What decides which team gets which numbered ball? I see we are ball 3 - higher up the list than usual? Your number is determined by number your previous fixture came out of the hat. Our tie v Wrexham, I believe, was the 3rd fixture drawn out of the hat, hence we are ball 3 in tonight's draw.

same as I put on the 2 page thread further down the page. Yes, I saw that thread. I felt it was starting to get a bit old hat and was in need of a relaunch

avoid any premier side away and we will be ok, apart from Chelsea and Man City I fancy our chances at home against anyone else in the comp.

Rochdale away.
It would be a tough tie but i'd definitely be up for a sheffield away day as well.

home to a championship team hopefully, a team that we will be up for, but also should win. Obviously we want to avoid the Man Citys and Chelseas for the next couple of rounds, but I worry that if we play another lower-league team (such as a Luton or a Bury), we will dole out another performance like yesterday and, with their slight edge in quality over Wrexham, we could become croppers.

Odds on The shit will be live on the box. Everyone of their FA Cup games over the last four years has been televised, fucking stinks.
Re the original question, Rochdale or Cambridge at home.

Have just got a feeling it will be Bournemouth away. You heard it here first without all the swirling and banging of balls.
