I'd be staggered if we signed Bojan for £8-10 million. It's a massive call. I agree with Lakeland, that an initial loan with an option seems the most sensible. To loan him for a season and then lose him if he succeeds would be disappointing and to risk spending a big fee on him when he has something to prove is unlikely.

If it is a loan with a view to buy, I could see the eventual option, should we take it up, being £6 million plus up to 3-4 £ million in add depending upon games and goals etc. with, maybe, a buy back clause as well.
I've watched him on the sentinel footage and it's been made to look spectacular but it ain't all that and some of it is repeated ......not that spectacular at Ajax
He seems to have done better with world class stars feeding him

We'll be able to unlock that talent again when he latches on to a perfectly weighted Glenn Whelan through ball.

His first for 8 years, looking forward to it......

Or a Geoff Cameron outside of the boot cross
Steady on, we don't want other teams figuring out the key to our success, people have been known to suddenly "disappear" after making details of Geoff's talent public.
Bojan has never been on form for any club since he left the Barcelona youth teams behind. He was fantastic in the youth leagues and hailed as the next coming yet when he made the step up it was very clear that he was more hype than actually talent.
For a few million or on loan he would be an ok signing but anything more would be a disappointment. Riviere is head and shoulders above him in terms of talent, potential and current ability.
Come on Lakeland you can do better than this. "If it were, they would have confirmd it"
My therapist likes me to make the odd typo - he says it gives me an insight into what it must be like to be one of the common people - and makes them love me even more!

But he's not signing for us...
If all links and ITK comments are to be believed he was a back up to other players, if we had a chance to get him then players we do sign or are linked to in the future will be compared to what we may of missed out on.
The players reputation? Contract length? I didn't know these things affect transfer fees! I better fucking stick to playing Football Manager then hadn't I?

The guy's a fucking idiot. Obviously never played FM either, those aspects of a player are all taken into account when dealing with transfers.
What would really help the club would be if one of the SLP boys posted on here that we were about to offer new contracts to the likes of Edu, Ness, Shea and Palacios.
