No shit Sherlock. He's been at our training ground all morning! Hence the name of thread! There was no real confirmation that he was at your training ground though, was there... There was enough for me although it could have been Dave Kitson they've seen. But yeah, there was enough.

It makes no sense that Pulis was sacked because this is a manager who has previous for improving teams with little or no money.
More like Tony Pulis saw what was coming and got out of there.
Reason given was mutual consent 'which fans mostly relate to the sack' and this sits well with Peter Coates. Afterall imagine if the reason given at the moment of Tony's departure was that he had resigned.
A whole lot more questions would have been raised about which direction the club was actually going in because in all reality in a job that Tony Pulis openly admitted he thoroughly loved he doesn't resign.
A Tony Pulis 'official resignation' would have raised a whole host of questions in relation to where our club is heading.

Yes, it's really making sense to sack a manager who has previous in managing/improving clubs with little financial clout. 100 million and results on a downward spiral? Little financial clout? Improving? He'd gone as far as he could and as far as Coates's wallet was prepared to let him go. He was sacked. End of story. You are mad as a fucking box of frogs. H See above.

2 and a half year deal which will see him 35?
Seriously Stoke? Where's the financial prudence with that?

Reckless spending my arse. Yes, Pulis wasted a bib or three but which manager hasn't?. £20 million a season seems a pretty good return to me and that's without attending a final along with Europe. Get £25-30 million for Shawcross and Bego and that brings the average down even further. As for Pulis, well one can now see he saw what was unfolding and got out if there. You really should be on medication for your obsession with TP. What is hard to understand about the word "Sacked", for you ? it was not mutual, he had no say in it. Saaaaaaaacked, you looney tune. Why not read what I have posted on the matter, digest it, think about it and then called me a daft cunt?.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23931574a) OdemThingie signed for Baarrddiiff for TWO Years (so 18 months left to run right now), for £2.25m b) Apparently, at the time, Hughesy had been interesting in signing him (from Baggies) So ... you could look at this as Hughesy getting his man, for £2.25m less than he would have paid, and shifting Our Kenny on into the bargain. Whether Mr OdemThingie would - or indeed - is a good signing I wait to see. But he can't be much worse than a bloke Hughesy would not have played. While the days of rocking the city seem, sadly, long gone; I don't think this is quite as bad as many are making out.

Stoke approached Hughes around this time last year to replace TP that summer. If it was up to Tone, he'd still be manager. To be honest if we had decided not to back whoever replaced him he may as well still be here.

So Tony bottled it then Tazi? Didn't like the direction the club was heading more like. Right so despite saying he loved Stoke , the people , the club etc, despite being desperate to roll out his dossier of Spanish/German football to change the way we played he decided not to fight, and let Peter Coates say he was sacked even though he wanted to leave because he didn't like the direction the club was going? Either he was sacked for being an incompetent or He left because he's a lying bottler Thanks for clearing that up. H

Didn't like the direction the club was heading more like. So why go to a club like Palace where his targets are being denied already due to budgeting issues? It's more worrying as to the reasons why he saw fit to resign rather than why he took over palace. As it is there's money available at Palace 'if reports of Tony reaching a points target that triggers a further cash release' are to be believed. Getting players in at this time if month can be difficult which becomes even more difficult when finding yourself at the bottom of the table. Yes, Pulis got us Etherington 'last chance saloon' with him, and Beattie who had it all to improve again. Now folk are seeing that we cannot get our main targets and I believe it's linked with why Pulis got out.

Both low fees and moderate wages at this stage of their career's. It makes no sense and there is a reason for that.
