Twatini isn't allowed to attend the Euro draw in Paris because of his suspension. How can he possibly be a candidate for the top job?

If Blatter and Platinum both get very lengthy bans, we could be saying in years to come what an important day this is.
Still, shame they weren't lifetime bans.

Presumably they have the right of appeal but this certainly ends Blatters reign at FIFA let’s just hope that the FBI don’t let him wriggle free.

How can Qatar go ahead now? It's a separate issue altogether . Let's hope corruption can be proved during the bidding process The Russians must have used a few bugs as well

This will be hurting Platini much more than Blatter. He was trying to portray himself as the knight on the white charger coming to clean up the corrupt FIFA - instead he's been shown to be another pig at the trough. Blatter, even with his astonishing capacity for self-delusion, will gave known the gig was up for him.
What a shambles.
Be nice to see some criminal actions, not just internal investigations.

It is essential that we see criminal prosecutions.

Blatter press conference coming up. He will also appeal.
Some MP just said a fish rots from its head and it remains to be seen how far the rot goes down. I'd suggest we need a new fish!
What does this say about UEFA?

There have been like bans handed out already to some officials.
Tbh when it's the head of uefa and Fifa itself they should have recieved life bans.
8 years is very lenient
