Is Jack going to sing? He has nothing to lose now. Ive had jack down as the one who will sing for a while. Hope so. Jack would do well to avoid any Russian hospitality especially cups of tea

Is there any information available on the expenses and other saundries that F.I.F.A. delagates most likely award each other? Or are the F.B.I. not releasing that information yet?

Jack has probably been advised to keep his trap shut..."when you're in a hole, best to stop digging". If he gets extradited he'll talk. That depends on what kind of deal he's offered. He'll talk if he's offered immunity from prosecution. If not, he'll get hauled in front of a Grand Jury, where he'll either have to testify or plead the 5th to avoid self incrimination. If choses the latter, he'll be thown in jail for contempt; so, overall, Jack's in the shit-pot.

Blazer is doing all the talking isn't he ? Is he beuing careful just taking one for the team? Hardly, the case has been built around his information, he even did wire taps for the FBI. If I remember correctly, he's terminally ill, and he fell out with Sepp and Jack...

Sepp Blatter: Coca-Cola say Fifa president must stand down Coca-Cola and McDonald's have called for Sepp Blatter to step down immediately as Fifa president.American drinks company Coca-Cola said: "Every day that passes Fifa's image and reputation continues to tarnish."
Fast-food chain McDonald's, also a key Fifa sponsor, said Blatter's resignation would be "in the best interest of the game".
Game up? EDIT: Coca-Cola, Visa, Budweiser and McDonald's calling for him to step down immediately.

Game up? I hope he sticks two fingers up at them and stays there for as long as he can, long enough for the police to drag him out of his office in handcuffs. The whole of world football is fucked up, including our FA.

It is an act of treachery which seriously puts FA integrity into question. Of all they have done this merits intense analysis. Failure to explain themselves thoroughly suggests vested interest. The FA are supporting a candidate under FBI scrutiny.

Did the FBI bother to investigate any Americans involved in bribery concerning the awarding of the Olympic Games? They lost face when Qatar got the vote. They don't give a monkey's about football. FIFA is finished they should all go with it.

Difference with FIFA is its been going on for yonks and barely concealed and the administration has arrogantly rolled on and on.

Especially given that the prosecutions are being driven from the States? It maybe for the better of the game, but this does look a bit dodgy.

For at least 30 years the organisation has been riddled with barely concealed corruption. People have just waited and waited for action to be taken. For example, the English FA have whined and whinged for yonks but done nothing. USA get's a bloody nose and they demand answers and act assertively. They didn't piss around scared like everyone else did. They got ripped off and didn't just accept it as the way of things. England got ripped off and are voting for one of the instigators. They might be acting through self interest (like everyone else does) but at least they are acting and because of their affirmative operational response some of the crooks who have hijacked our game could deservedly go to jail.

The voting for the Atlanta games left a lot to be desired, unless of course you were one of the lucky ones that was given what was desired ;-) The whole rigmarole of voting for sporting events has long since been corrupt and cause for concern. Part of the problem is the free loading and corporate gifts and expenses that occur during such votes. It's all just a part of the gravy train.

It's all just a part of the gravy train. 1996 was meant to be Athens to celebrate 100 years of the modern Olympiad. Coca cola soon persuaded them to change plans by way of a humongous payment. Once I was told it wasn't a bribe as such and what happened was to ensure the 1996 Olympics was awarded to Atlanta Coca Cola submitted a payment to the IOC. So it wasn't a bribe!
