I'm sure Platini has a perfectly reasonable explanation for the bribe legitimate payment.

Lets hope they finally nail this greedy c**t to the mast and someone with the game foremost rather than the money it generates comes first. Oh and takes the WC from Qatar as their first job.

One things for sure. When things change they're usually for the worst, but in his case I'm willing to take the risk, but it won't result in us getting the WC, cause the qunts hate us after all we've done for them

Platini cannot get the top job surely. Prince Ali deserves it for having the balls to stand against Sepp in the first place.

Yes Joe, as you've already said, but surely it's FIFA that is the laughing stock and this pantomime of theirs needs ending as quickly as possible. Do you remember one of the posts concerning the "gifting" of TV rights without any bidding to one of the American broadcasters (Paul Spencer)? Look at how this is turning out for Blatter, Platini, FIFA . Are there any credible football organisations left? Would Joe prefer to remain in the problem and laughing stock that FIFA has long since become? I'd prefer for the F.A. To be seen to be taking the lead and reorganising the ugly and corrupt behemoth that F.I.F.A. is. It must not be a case of, "the beast is dead, long live the beast". It has to become less bloated and more proportional. I'm not saying the likes of San Marino, Scotland, Gibralter or wherever shouldn't have a voice, I'm saying that the voices need modifying. I am saying that dictatorships and overly warlike nations should be banned. Larger footballing nations need to get their heads together, disband F.I.F.A. and come up with something a lot more manageable and accountable Titter ye not joeinthepenalcolony

All the big footballing nations should resign from thifa, got to say my thoughts are they wont as they probably all have something to hide, not the federations themselves just certain high up individuals in each one, you only have to look at Blattini*, the two top fish in the pond pocketting millions, and then there,s the 16k watch fiasco at Brazil, imo they,ve all had their dirty thieving snouts in the money trough.
Can i copyright that*

In fact lots of countries leaving FIFA is not the answer. What is required is lots of nations withdrawing from 2022.

Blatter: I've Done Nothing Illegal Or Improper The FIFA President said in a statement released through his lawyers that he told the authorities the payment to UEFA President Michel Platini was "valid compensation and nothing more". "He explained to the prosecutors that the payments were valid compensation and nothing more and were properly accounted for within FIFA including the withholding of Social Security contributions.

Jack Warner banned for lifeGood news, but frankly, it's too little, too late. The fact it's taken to 2015 for this crook to get publicly found out is a disgrace. That said, I'm looking forward to Blatter's comeuppance. It must surely follow.
