Is there any way to get on without FIFA? They're talking about Platini now. If you thought that Blatter was bad, Platini would be something else altogether. Whatever happens, it'll be a disaster. Any reform has to be done independently and a fresh start can't be made until it's new people compliant with transparency and accountability from the public.

Any body language experts on here that can explain Blatters, sweating and nervousness on this one, what a complete cock up that was, if it wasn't such a serious part of the footballing history it would be laughable.

Platini standing for the top job. That's no use. To bring around sustainable change for the better we need legal action. If those charged are found guilty this should lead to an instruction to make all the committee members fresh faces and increaed accountability.

Will appoint a new committee as a matter of course joe but the so called equitable system of one federation one vote is farcical

“Help me to find the truth. This tsunami. This shocking raid or whatever it was... There should be an investigation as to why this happened two days before the congress. Why were there journalists of The New York Times in the lobby of the Baur au Lac hotel at 6 o’clock in the morning? They had no reason to be there.
They were there Blatter to cover the story of the organisation you run being exposed as corrupt self serving criminals. He knew that. If he did know that he's corrupt and if he didn't he's grossly negligent.

Fresh arrests likely in Fifa corruption scandal, says US attorney general “Separate and apart from the pending indictment, our investigation remains active and ongoing. It has in fact expanded since May. The scope of our investigation is not limited and we are following the evidence where it leads,” Lynch said at a press conference with Lauber in Zurich. “We do anticipate pursuing additional charges against individuals and entities.”
“To anyone who seeks to live in the past and return soccer to the days of corruption and bribery, cronyism and patronage this global response sends a strong message – you are on the wrong side of progress and you do a disservice to the integrity of this wonderful sport.”

A Fifa statement said it had "been made aware of a series of allegations involving the secretary general". For sustainable change the current ones have to be gone altogether. Valcke was done for lying in a New York court. Yet he still clung on to his role.
