The IOC was reformed, but not until after The USA had bribed their way into winning at least one Olympic Games...

The farce has gone on long enough. The only rational thing to do is for individual F.A's to start resigning. Let FIFA be concerned with just those who remain, probably African and Asian country's. Either UEFA of individual country's have to grasp the nettle and grasp it now. There is plenty of money in certain organisations and the infrastructure is already in place to fund a new nations cup competition and from that a new world governing body, (tho I'm not sure one is really needed)

Fifa corruption: Swiss banks 'reported account suspicions' Swiss banks reported suspicious activity around accounts of football's world governing body Fifa, says the Swiss attorney general. Until now, much less has been revealed about the Swiss investigation than the inquiry being led by the FBI.
Mr Lauber told a news conference that his investigation was looking at 53 banking relationships reported by the Swiss financial intelligence unit.
"We are facing a complex investigation with many international implications. The prosecution is ongoing and will take time. The world of football needs to be patient - by its nature, this investigation will take more than the legendary '90 minutes'," he said.

The bonkers thing was when Garcia was compiling his huge report the Russians just shrugged and said the computers were rented so they didn't have them to submit as evidence. When this was reported to FIFA's top table their indifference spoke volumes. This infuriated Garcia as he wasn't receiving full support.
His mood wasn't helped when he was informed the report wasn't going to be made public. Realising his vast body of evidence, which he'd taken over a year to compile, was seen to be done not done to be seen was the final straw. Sepp and his cohorts seemed to overlook the fact Garcia's wife is involved with the FBI and isn't one to be messed with. Their arrogance and indifference to the crimes remains steadfast despite events of recent weeks. We have Sepp plotting to retain his presidency and the head of Qatar 2022 asking whey their hosting rights should be under review. I sit watching the WC qualifier between Japan and Singapore and the kids standing behind the teams still hold FIFA flags. They honestly think they believe they are above the law.
In my life there have been three major coverups/scandals that get worse and worse with each revelation. Simmy Javille, Hillsborough, and now THIEFA.

If Blatter passed his how accurate are these integrity checks ffs? The integrity check - 'Sepp, are you involved in dodgy dealings' Sepp replies ' erm, erm, no, I dont think so' Auditor 'that's fine then, see you next time, Im just off back to the fully paid for 5 star hotel room complete with high class hooker, thanks for picking up the tab' Sepp uncrosses his fingers which were hidden behind his back, and smoothes back whats left of his hair with his sweaty palms Sent from my SM-G850F using proboards

Maradona to be president. Great idea! One thing is though it's all common to slag off THIEFA and all that BUT Maradona was vocal about these things back when nobody else was. In the build up to the 1986 WC Maradona was very critical of the kick off times saying they were endangering players health to take European TV money. They resented him for it but he made his point.

Sepp Blatter: Fifa president says he did not resign Sepp Blatter says he has not resigned as Fifa president.
The 79-year-old Swiss was thought to have ended his 17-year reign on 2 June amid claims of corruption in world football's governing body.
But, according to Swiss newspaper Blick, Blatter told a party at a Fifa museum: "I did not resign. I put myself and my office in the hands of the Fifa congress."
Blatter is thought to be considering standing for re-election as president.
Two criminal investigations into alleged Fifa corruption began in the week that Blatter was elected for a fifth term in charge.
Four days after being voted president, Blatter - who is reportedly under investigation in the United States - said: "While I have a mandate from the membership of Fifa, I do not feel that I have a mandate from the entire world of football.

I will continue to exercise my functions as Fifa president until that election."
However, Blatter did not use the words 'resign' or 'resignation'.
In response to Blatter's latest comments, Labour MP Chris Bryant, the shadow secretary of state for culture, said: "Sepp Blatter's antics remind me not so much of the hokey-cokey as Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction.
"It's time Fifa put an end to all this speculation, which is harming the sport, and give a final date for Blatter's departure."
Meanwhile, Blatter may not attend the final of the Women's World Cup in Canada because of the twin investigations into Fifa by American and Swiss authorities.
He would normally present the trophy to the winning team, but Fifa will not confirm whether Blatter or secretary general Jerome Valcke will attend.
A Fifa spokesperson said: "In terms of the Fifa president and the Fifa secretary general, their future travel plans will be confirmed in due course."

Will Blatter go the final? Absolutely not. As a Swiss national he can't be deported to USA to face charges, but once he leaves the land of mountains, watches and stolen Jewish artifacts then he is fair game for FBI.
