No worries m8y, anytime. I'm just pleased I managed to remember where the hell I was staying. After the game on Thursday we ended up back in luckys it's all a bit of a blur to be honest. Too many krombacher or whatever the local lager was Stacks, glad to see you made it home ok - you were in a state on Thursday! Do you remember trying to buy a scarf outside the ground for 60p - the woman was not impressed!! Yeah ha ha. She wasn't too impressed. Those lads who were singing in the street were trying to provoke a response from us too as I had my Stoke top on but we just acknowledged them with a handclap and continued swiftly on our way. Nearly got flattened by a car later on aswell, Whitmore said it looked pretty close from the other side of the road. Think I dived over the barrier out the way

Fantasic time in Kiev - great city- thanks to everyone i met, Chris, Tuun and his friends in Lucky pub Wednesday,Den for all his advice, and Malcolm, and especially Igor for the lift from airport and arranging the ground tour on the Friday - enjoyed it and put things in perspective seeing all the scarves in the supporters room from teams that Kiev had played over the years and now Stokes scarf can proudly be put along side them - Will certainly add to the collection and hope that all Kiev fans who want to come can get thier visas - hope to see you again..

Ohhhh!... We almost won!! But 3-3 is ok, too! I think our match was a good preview to the FCDK-SCFC! pmacman: BTW, to all - that Igor (who gave Malcolm & you a lift from airport) is not the one, who was with me (my friend - Igor who played football with us, drank vodka, stayed till morning etc.), but I know that Igor, too! He s also a nice guy!! & as I see now - I know many good Igors

Had a great time in Kiev staying in a local hostel and then visiting the city also had interesting time travelling around on the metro and buses going to places. If I go again soon they do tours of the Chernobyl area where apart from the radiation you have to worry about bears and wolves. An amazing city

No, no, younghope! I understood it! I mean - thank you for showing such an interesting (cheap!) option! And about Slavutich - I d really like to bring it to you! (or give it to you through someone else if I couldn t manage to go to Stoke). I can tell you that Stokies liked Ukrainian beer - so, maybe, we should think about regular delivering it to Stoke! But better - let them come to Kyiv for it!

Den, you have given so much time and help to complete strangers and followed through on all the promises you made. You really are a credit to your club and your country. I am already looking at spending Christmas with my girlfriend in the Ukraine this year, if everyone is even half as helpful as you I'm sure we will love it. It looks a wonderful city. Orthodox Christmas is celebrated on January 7 in Ukraine

Hi, guys! Some news from Ukraine! 08.10.11 - this Saturday - it s planned the official opening of Olympic Stadium in Kyiv! This is the stadium that supposed to host the Euro-2012 final game!! It used to have 100,000 seats, than (since 1998) - about 83,000 & under this re-construction - only about 70,000. This is the stadium where Dynamo had its most important victories! One of them - is 1975 UEFA SuperCup v Bayern 2-0! And how many more amazing games!! We won here vs Barcelona, Real, Arsenal, Bayer, Roma, Celtic, Anderlecht... Our National team played there vs Spain, France, Germany, Italy... This is our legend-ground! I wish someday Dynamo played on this old-new stadium a Champions League game vs Stoke-City! But before this, I wish this ground to host Euro-2012 final Ukraine-England! Happy days!

no!! this season - at the Dynamo stadium (small one!) I quite liked that stadium. Walking up to it through the archs which were all lit up, the statue of that manager, the fact that it's more or less inside a park...good stuff. Is it possible to watch a match through the trees behind one goal? Me and myatt thought so... Hope you're well Den.

Hi, Pricey!!! Great to hear you, mate! I like our stadium (Dynamo), too. It s in very picturesque place - the park, government buildings around etc. If we had more time I d like to show you some really amazing observation decks nearby. You standing on the right bank of Dnipro-river (on the hills) & looking at the left bank (low-lands). It s beautyful! & yes, you may watch a match from that park! There are places, where you may see all the pitch very clear! And from that high you see the picture of the game! I hope you r well, too, Pricey & already thinking about coming back to Kyiv someday!

I went to the main observation deck on the Friday Den. Very good. Also went to look at the statue and some of the churches, etc. A nice city you have there.

A couple of seasons ago yes, you could see the games from behind the WBC Ultras sectors. I think now it's mostly covered.

Me and my mate walked around the back of the stands on our mini-tour of the city and there were a few spots where you could see 80-90% of the pitch easily.
