They will definitely refuse that. I reckon we'll have a better chance of it being accepted with no exchange players + 7m

Views did mention something about this yesterday... You had plenty of questions about this striker Dave which you didn't answer. It's not great mate to be fair and i think we are just pissing in the wind as always ! One of the strikers that the club are trying to get is from Wigan 7 million plus a player exchangeDave, if you don't rule out ric going anywhere i'm going to toast some frozen bread and eat it. On your head be it mate Its not Ric 100%I love you Is it a striker? Yes could be 2 Strikers with less moneyTa Dave In your opinion only, which one of our striker targets is closest ? If you can't name them can you give clues ? I thought it was the guy from wigan, but the Manager is trying hard to sign a player from a London club

Sounds plausable if true. Would be a good deal aswell, working in our favour i think.

I can see why we are not successful in the transfer window; because we are trying to offload our players, instead of just offering to buy a player. I can see what TP is trying to do, but other prem teams dont want our cast offs..

I'm, not dismissing DV on this, but we all know that most national papers get their rumours from places like this. They are not as investigative as their titles sugest

Why cant we just offer them a straight 9m. In my opinion would be a cracking signing if it happens. If we mess around with the Beattie exchange and mess around for weeks we'll lose out.

I dunna trust anything that comes from the papers - I'm sure that they have no concrete sources whatsoever, it's just a case of throw enough shit and some sticks!
Why on on earth would Wigan accept 7M + a 32 year old Reject for Rodders?
This is bullshit!....I really hope I have to eat my words on this one! But nahhhh it's total shite!

I'd be inclined to agree if they hadn't just accepted 750k for their player of the season.

And what exactly has he done to be worth more than £8-9m?
The hype surrounding this guy is completely out of kilter with his achievements.
If they could get that kind of deal, I think Wigan will have done bloody well

I too remain unconvinced of Rodallega as a striker worth that sort of money - he started the season well, but went off the boil. Where would he fit in, as it is hard to see him partnering Ricardo. Replacing Ricardo? I'd still have Ricardo first choice.

Because as we all know Mama's got his place in the bag In terms of been unconvinced, rather 7M in this lad than Cole for 8,9,10....12M?

So if he fits in to the sysyem I suppose he's more value to us?

This means we would then have 3 players (Rodders/Fuller/Tuncay) who, I'm sure in the mind of the manager, would not be able to play together
so its either Fulller + Mama Tunny + Mama or Rodders + Mama
You choose?????

Option 5, Fuller, Rodders and Tuncay. ;D You could do that and it would probably work with some full backs that can play as well. Ethers Tuncay Rodders ............Fuller.............. More chance of hell freezing over though.

Ethers on the right bayern? Robben style?
Whenever TP switched him over to the right wing, he has never really done anything IMO. All I can remember is Wigan away when he put in a cross from the right and Tuncay scored a header

I can see this happening (if we don't dick around with his wages). If we can get a right winger, a creative mid' and a attacking left-back then I think I would go for option 6: Roddy and Tuncay (Ric as an impact sub)
