That's cos they know what TP did was literally taking the piss. Faye gets a red, so you take off Delap or Whitehead - only an absolute cock would pull a stunt like that.

kev,
The players were trying to tell the petulant brat to calm down.
It's a shame the selfish individual couldn't acknowledge it was done for the greater good of the team.

Now they is even more split - Fact

The only option was to bring off a striker and defend the point. Kitson is the better defensive player - Tuncay is a luxury we couldn't afford, we were not going to win at that point.
I think Tucay will realise that - but I would have been Pissed. He will come around!
Pulis trying to split the club - stupid comment!

Be fair Glass Knees, he's yet to start again, he's the captain of his country and was interesting some big clubs last season. I think he's been quite patient, Beattie has done fuck all this season and Tuncay has actually tried too hard most of the time he's come on. He shouldn't have been sacrificied today - Delap should have been the one to go. I feel for the lad and he had a right to be annoyed, not just by this incident but by the manner in which Pulis has treated him. He was kind of restrained, at least he didnt throw the shirt or show the fans etc any disrespect. By all accounts he's a nice lad - I think Pulis needs to cop a fair bit of blame for how things are turning out with him.

He always has, and always, because he'll never change. The Pulis lovers even defend him today, but how can they when he's acting like a real pric*

clueless split the club a long time ago. When he came back and at the end of his first spell. He's ruined career after career going back to carl asaba!!!
He gets talented players (mainly strikers) and consistently plays them out of position or leaves them on the bench!!
He doesn't know how to deal with talented popular players. Unless you are a workhorse, he's lost!!!
Terrible!!!!

BC,
He will clearly be frustrated by the current situation, bc, though that doesn't excuse his unwillingness to accept a decision by TP. Acting in that manner was only going to harm the team, wasn't it?

Unfortunately ir does seem to be a trait of Pulis, that no matter where he manages he seems to split the fans 50/50...he is the stereotypical marmite manager!
Don't normally comment on the match itselt, but today we suffered from being a team of two halves again. first half ok (although not brilliant), but the second half was abysmal. I don't think we mustered more than an odd shot on goal.
I have been a Pulis supporter, but today I think he got it horrendously wrong. What has Wilko done to deserve being dropped, why no Lawrence in the side - and the poor decision to sub Tuncay just makes me wonder exactly what his game plan was today.
Yes the ref didn't help, as didn't Faye's wreckless 2 yellows, however for me the root of the blame has to lie squarely at the managers door today. You can blame the players, but you're not telling me that we have 10 players on the park who all want to submit possession to the opposition so easily and to stand off each player until they reach the 18 yard box.
Be interesting to see how we bounce back, a couple of things are clear tho - Pulis has to lose the stubborn element of his team selection, and we as fans are going to have to keep behind the team. My concern is that we end up doing a Hull last season!

I would have taken Kitson off.

Those fans are cunts

I'm sorry but to say taking tuncay off was the most sensible decision is ridiculous. All he had to do was move rory to full back and huth to the centre.. then we would have to tuncay to keep the ball which clearly any of the other players at the end cannot do.
OR take rory, whitehead, whelan or ethrington off, not a player who has only just come on and is plainly not settled yet. (though that doesnt matter because he will be of now)

PFF Trying to defend the point -stupid comment -it should of been trying to defend the three points . Pulis is splitting the fans and the players, when a manager comes out and says Tuncay is not starting as he is unfit then a player who has been out out for 8 months (mama) plays 30 mins in the reserves and gets on the pitch before him then your manager is full of shit!

iam glad fans are beginning to see this after along few years! pulis out or we will be doomed have a word with yourself, he took tuncay off for the good of the team. Holding on for a draw was the right call in the circumstances after losing a man. Tuncay should of swallowed the bullet and walking off like a man, instead he threw his toys out the pram and every player told him to calm down. Not done his chances of playing for the TEAM any favours

why couldn't clueless have moved huth to the middle of defence, delap to right back, tuncay to midfield and leave kits up front?
no he signalled the intention to hold on with the decision he did make.
pulis out!

Why wasn't the ineffective Delap taken off for Wilko and Tuncay moved to right wing? What would be so wrong with that?

The correct decision was to take, Kitson or Tuncay off. I would have taken Kitson off. I would have taken Whitehead off, moved Delap into the middle and put Tuncay out wide. Alternatively just take Delap off and move Tuncay wide. Lets not get OTT. Puils has cocked up for that last two games, but it's hardly time for "Pulis out" comments. If we persist in playing these negative formations, and if he loses Tuncay completely then we have reason to vilify him. The real sign of a good manager, is not never getting it wrong, it's having the ability to turn it around when you have got it wrong. (bottom 2 comments not directred at your post march)

Pulis always has and always will split the supporter base. Its just who the bloke is really.
We didn't play very well at all but could easily have still won the game (Man Utd seem to do this regularly).
With regards Tuncay, hes paid £40-50k a week (if rumours are correct) - if i was getting paid that sort of money, I think i could force myself to behave in a professional manner. Hes a fully grown bloke after all - not some child in the play ground - frustration sure but no need for the temper tantrum.
Pulis obviously sees Tuncay purely as a striker so it was a toss up between Kitson and Tuncay who to take off following the red card - its open to argument who would be more effective as the lone striker.

With all due respect mate thats bollocks Tuncay wants to play and you can see that so when you get subbed after 5 mins after coming on as a sub and you walk off like what ever im still being paid 50k a week then that would be shit.
