We had an abortion of a season so I wouldn’t compare them to us. I wouldn’t say Swansea were relegation favourites. They were predicted to finish in mediocrity and that’s what they did. What’s all the fuss about? They finished mid-table as expected. We had an abortion of a season because we had two awful managers who failed to get anything out of the very expensively assembled squad we have. Potter did something with nothing at Swansea and it earns him a premier league move. Good luck to him, it has no relevance to Stoke City.

In a Mickey Mouse league in Sweden. Where did Swansea finish last season? 6 places above us. Having lost nearly all their best players. Had quite a big injury crisis and not spent £50m We had an abortion of a season so I wouldn’t compare them to us. I wouldn’t say Swansea were relegation favourites. He was average at Swansea last season and he’s won one game 3-0. Only on the Oatcake do we base the performance of managers after one game. Did amazing job at Swansea considering he sold his best players. Also previous job abroad was amazing success, one match my ar**! In a Mickey Mouse league in Sweden. Where did Swansea finish last season?

Totally agree. Play like that every week with a bit more finesse and we’ll be in and around the play offs. So where is this finesse coming from? By strikers playing together more often and getting more games and a consistent back 4. People forget that Liam Lindsay and Ward made their first competitive starts for us today and so did the front 2. Give it games and the strikers will start hitting the net and the defenders will learn to play with one another and deal with situations better.

I only paid a quid to watch it. You won’t see us play that well many more times this season, an exciting game too. From a value for money perspective very well spent.

Professional football is a results game. If we are not in the top 6 after 10 games, he’s got to go. If we are in bottom half, we will not go up. I am 50/50 on being convinced we will be in the top 6 after 10 games. Good results, more often than not, come from good performances. Being cynical they come from sticking the ball in the onion bag more than the opposition, on most occasions that is usually done by performing well and consistently. It is no coincidence that Manchester City, Liverpool, Norwich and Sheffield United were all successful last season. They weren’t pinching results every week.

We played the best I’ve seen us play in The Championship since relegation and I stand by that. Couple that with the fact that we are 2 games into a 46 game season I don’t think it’s quite time to sack the manager. Results will change. And we still can't win. If we’d drawn today I’d have been perplexed, somehow we lost. Yes, if you’re being cynical it was 3 moments of shite defending where we switched off. 3 minutes of 90. 80 of which we were the team in the ascendency we just didn’t score our chances.

Who is to say they’d have scored 3 if we’re 3-1 up after 50 minutes. We’d have seen the game out, comfortably.

We played okay. Nothing more more than that. We hadn't had a shot after half an hour and went one nil down. We created two good chances, Hogan And Smith. Gregory was unlucky, Inces was well struck. Second we created one real chance. Nothing else. Their keeper didn't really have a save to make. They created two good chances all game and scored them both. Let's not make out we played well. Football is eleven aside. You can not concede 3 and play well. Totally disagree. That game could very easily have finished 3-1 to us and this message board would have been full of hyper positivity and people saying we’re going to win the league.

Charlton didn’t look troubled.. do you sniff glue? They were shitting their pants for 70 minutes of that game. All they could do was put the ball into touch. If it wasn’t for some shoddy finishing we would have been 3-1 up after 50 minutes. We made some CLEAR CUT opportunities, not half chances, real good, clear cut chances that you’d expect to bag 9 times out of 10. They dealt with everything. Even Gregory’s shot they got a body in the way enough to put him off. Bodies in the box. They did what they had to to do. And no I would expect us to bag them 9 times out of 10 because we don’t. Despite the result, that’s the best I’ve seen us play in the championship for about 70 minutes.

Talk about 'rose tinted' glasses, we lost 3-1! I have seen nothing that indicates we are any different than we were last season, paying well and not getting results is not achieving anything. If the situation is not rectified soon then we could be in for a dire season. Six games in should indicate what kind of a season we will have, but I'm not holding my breath Did 6 games indicate what kind of season Norwich would have last season? Or Villa for that matter?

My positive for the day is, if you play like that every week you’ll win two thirds of your games.

We ran around a lot and looked to be trying but unfortunately Charlton didn’t look too troubled and took their chances. It is unfortunately not enough. What because some of us fans actually want us to win. Get s grip There’s wanting to win and there’s the shit this message board come out with sometimes. It’s like being surrounded by a bunch of hormonal women, get some Evening Primrose oil down your neck and have a carton of Ben & Jerries.

Obviously you didn’t watch the game Or understand football Please enlighten me, I thought it was about winning, given it's a sport. Not about continually playing dire football against poor opposition. I assume your a stats lover. Or you don't understand football. The fact that you mention ‘dire’ football in relation to today’s performance means you’re either blind or you didn’t watch the game.

Can't help but think some of you didn't actually watch the game? We played well in both halves, were unlucky not to win never mind draw. On another day we would have scored 4. I think we are clearly making a few basic errors at the back and Butland is obviously costing us right now, but play like that most weeks and we will do fine this season. Totally agree. Play like that every week with a bit more finesse and we’ll be in and around the play offs.

You knicker wetting bastards need to get real. That’s the best we’ve played for many, many months if our Strikers could hit a barn door we’d have been out of sight after 50 minutes. Today’s result was probably the least Jones fault out of all the games he’s had in charge. For me, this is the biggest concern. The manager made a number of decisions which completely derailed the successful period we were enjoying in the game. I respect your opinion but I'd argue this was a result which Jones is mostly to blame for (and partly Butland - when did he last actually make a save?) I would argue that playing at that tempo and creating that amount of chances we should have been out of sight after 50 minutes. The manager did nothing wrong. Lee Gregory looks a fantastic signing.

He's made 2 mistakes, he's still our best keeper. We're a championship team, stop expecting world beating players. World beaters? I’ve seen under 16’s save those. It was straight at him, he was too worried about his hair being out of place.

All of a sudden we have 4 strikers and one of which is a kiddie. Thin on the ground. How is it all of a sudden? That’s exactly the position we’ve been in all along Yesterday we had 4 senior strikers on the books. Now we have 3.
