Hard to tell from the angle. I guess it could be a case of the ball having being kicked by Ramsey and then his leg following through and getting caught in the turf. Anyone???

It's a 50/50 challenge. Unfortunate but these things happen. Hope Ramsey make a full and speedy recovery but as for the Arse and their antics, well words fail me. Wenger should look back through history and check out the 74/75 season when we suffered what, 3 broken legs??? Or was it more? That's more than coincidence, Arsehole.
Anyway, we need to make sure Ryan gets over this for both club and country's sake!!!

They don't seem to care about fouls throws anymore either, everyone seems to foul throw these days. Especially Rory!!! ;-)

It seems as though Stoke City have been sensible and not stretched the purse strings too far. We are financially sound and are looking to 'push on' in the years to come. Hopefully, this will lead to regular top ten finishes, etc.
However, after Pompey had gone into administration today, Andrew Andronikou was heard to say that they would not be the first Premier League club to go this way over the next two years or so.
So, who's next???
I reckon Hull City.
Not that I would really want anyone to go into administration except maybe Manure, Liverpoo, Arse, Chelski and Citeh.

"City till I die" ;D ;D ;D
No problem from me if you've given up on Manure to go and watch Stoke. Stoke on Trent should be able to attract locals to support the local team and there will be newbys every season. But FFS, this is not how to make the switch. If you are local and/or have a genuine connection then you will follow Stoke through a bond, a type of band of brothers. Slagging off the likes of Fuller, etc in your early posts and then trying to knock down anyone who stands up to you without a good, solid argument is just a piss take. And we still argue with you!!! ???

You saw Man United once a season? Yes, and it's not cheap. I spose that's one benefit of going to Stoke now they're in the premiership. Cheaper tickets and I still do get to see man utd once a season ;D ;D ;D Who's put you up to this???

- A stoke fan is BORN and not made by choice. - Its drummed into you from day 1 that your a stokie I was there as a young lad in the Vic Ground wiping away those tears when Gary Parker volleyd that ball into the back of the net in the play-offs, where were you? Spunking off to Manure? Liverpool? Arsenal? Chelsea? Lazio? Juve? AC? Inter? Fuck off i can smell the plastic a mile off ... Surely it makes me more of a fan that I've given up watching a top champions league side like man utd to go and watch Stoke instead. If you've seen Stoke in the lower divisions, what you're watching now is almost a novelty, something to enjoy. But to go from a side that wins week in week out to go and watch Stoke, you've got to admit takes real commitment Why are we all falling for this??? I am actually PML at your replies coopstadium...come on, reveal yourself...are you Hudson God's offspring???

Ricardo Fuller is a legend and one of the reasons we are where we are now. Yes, he has his tantrums and so on but, in my eyes, he is brilliant and far better than we have had for 30 plus years. Others in today's side are pushing him for sure, Shawcross and Etherington especially but Fuller is liable to make something out of nothing and Stoke will gain in some way or another. By the way, does anyone know how much longer is left on his contract???

There never was/is anything better than being a Stokie...ever, but I agree that at the moment things are fantastic. They could get better and the one main reason for this is our general set up as a club. We are financially sound and constantly moving forward in an environment where clubs are looking over their shoulder wondering when the tax man will strike and demand their money. Given these circumstances, being sensible now could really pay big dividends for us over the next few years. I mean, who expected us to be one of only three Premier League clubs who could afford to make big money signings in the last transfer window???

Yep, good post. Very proud of the players tonight and, of course, the manager. Why anyone moans so much is beyond me. Maybe they're pining for the good old days of Billy Whitehurst, Steven Tweed, Paul Stewart, etc. It really beggars belief, it really does.

What City would give for having Dunney back ha, Lescott and Toure are hopeless defending high balls. Delap has to start in both City home games now. What's with the 'City' thing??? Aren't we Stoke CITY??? Sorry, just pisses me off especially when Robbie Earle is was using it at half time and the commentators throughout the entire match.

Can we request old articles??? I'd love you to put on the 'Why Stoke' article circa 1991. It was funny and really got to the heart of why we are Stokies. Or classic readers letters moaning like drains about Coates or Pulis. Granted, I moaned about Coates but that ain't the point!!!

Win the Fa Cup plus maybe four great away ains including Man Ure or get knocked out of the fa cup (worlds most industrious trophy) but survive No 2 for me!! Sorry to drag this up to the top but if we won four away games, would they be including one tomorrow at Citeh and the others being in the Prem??? If so, option one would suit all Stokies as we would surely be safe and have won the FA Cup. If it doesn't then we would be safe anyway and still have won the Cup. Is the wine blurring my judgement here or was I really running this question through my head for the last 24 hours wondering if I'd read it wrong??? ;D

So was I. This was the first ever Stoke City match I attended and, as you say, louis, the atmosphere that night was awesome. The Boothen was heaving and the smell of fags, beer, sweat and farts was addictive. There was no looking back after that!!! Some great singing, too. And we won!!!

I see 40 points being the target for safety in just about any season. We can't afford to take our foot off the pedal yet and in any case we could do with showing an improvement on last season if only to show potential signings how things are on the up at our club. Having said that, to get to that safety zone ASAP will please and settle us all. 11 points to go!!!

How can anyone go against Fuller??? Steino was great and to watch him live was awesome but it was in the third tier against horseshite. Ok, so he went onto score for Chelsea, so what. Chelsea ain't Stoke and I judge any player by his performances for Stoke and Stoke only. Based on that it could only be Fuller...way ahead of the others and still underrated by Stoke fans...as can be seen by this thread!!! Good job there's no karma!!!
