there was more than last month to buy plays, we have been a premiership team for nearly 3 years!
Shotton looks ok, but not good enough yet, we need quality now so we can survive. No good having good youth players for the championship

lee1982, i agree, but i think it is a problem that has not been helped by even more poor signings. The signings we make are just not quite good enough. why can a team like wolves get o'hara and we can't?

shawcross it never worth 20million. Even with premiership experience he is still unproven and his distribution is no where near good enough for the top four.
If he was put into any top four team he would stand out like a sore thumb.
I think around 10-15 and stoke will not be able to say no, player power will come into play and an offer of around 10 million could trigger that

when newcastle go up there is no chance they will go down in the first season. They have the infrastructure in place and always have plenty of money. I know that's what got them relegated in the first place but the standard in the league at the moment is very poor IMO.
They will come up, finish about 12th and then be a regular feature from then on. no chance of them being a yo yo club with the backing and money, last years relegation was a fluke.

IMO Fuller has no real value in the transfer market. There is no chance of us getting even 2-3 million for him.

yes but with more games his passing will improve whereas higgy will only ever hit it long down the line regardless how many games he play. You're clutching at straws. He had a run of games and was dropped because he wasn't very good. He isn't fit to lace Higgi's boots. you have to be joking, they are both as good/bad as each other. Higgy left Sunderland because he couldnt get in the team. At the same time collins was playing?
