I watched him score 4 and tear Plymouth apart last week. He could have easily had another 2. Quick and brings others into play. I’m sure he could make it in the Championship.

Twine from MK Dons is a useful striker. Hatrick already

Really disappointing. We will no doubt have a good run at some stage before the end of the season and provide hope again for next season.

Oldham in 1978/79 (FA Cup). 2-0 up, match abandoned due to heavy snow. We lost the rearranged game 0-1. Under Brian Little didn't we have an Auto Windscreens Shield game at Rochdale cancelled three times due to a frozen pitch? Rochdale eventually gave up home advantage and let us play it at the Brit. They still beat us 2-1! Oldham was one of my first games. Sammy Irvine got both. We lost the re-arranged game 0-1. Vic Halom scored Went to both games and was surprised the first game even started. Orange ball from memory in game 1 and a very heavy wet pitch for game 2

Would have like to see Maja start as he is a clinical finisher. We always seem to get early chances and usually they fall to Brown who doesn’t put them away. Brown off the bench against a tired defence for me.

I thought I’d watch Sunderland till I Die again. Josh comes off the bench (aged 19 from the Academy) in episode 4 and scores on his debut.

. Yep..is no game like it and you need both sets of fans. You realise how poor the Champ is switching over to this one. Was a good game. I watched Postecoglou assert a more dramatic transformation when he managed Brisbane. He’s a quality manager and did a great job for Australia. I’m so pleased for him as he copped a lot of criticism when he joined them.

Any keeper that grabs the ball after a goal needs a yellow as it causes grief every game. The Forest keeper on the weekend caused an all in and now thus dickhead from Huddersfield.

Quality from Powell. He’s made a massive difference. I fancy Bidace scoring as he’s always up for a shot

There’s still a few days left on the transfer window & we can only hope a couple more come and go. I’ve been reading that we need to go on a run and soon and I believe when he gets the right team on the pitch we can do it and beat any team in this league.
Our record against the 10 teams above us is pretty average with 16 points out of a possible 33, with only Fulham played twice. We need to start beating these teams consistently starting with Uddersfield.
Im a MON supporter and believe in him and what he’s building for the future but even my patience is wearing thin.
If things don’t improve and quickly, we need to wait for the right manager to become available and then and only then we make the change. Cooper & Wilder are great examples of how to turn things around.

What a debut. Started out a bit tentative but grew into the game and could have scored at least one. The future is bright if we can keep bringing the younger players through.

Things can change so quickly in this league. I remember in our promotion year playing Sheff Utd at home around Dec/Jan and losing to a goal from Beattie I think. We were awful that night and I thought we had buckleys of making the top 6. We went on a run that coincided with a few teams falling away and we finished 2nd. The season isn’t over yet and there’s at least one automatic and 4 play off places to fight for. A couple of shrewd Jan signings, Powells return and an injection of youth could well turn things around and MON will be a superstar again

Derby have the second best away record for goals conceded -10. Stoke have third best home record behind Fulham & West Brom for goals conceded- 10. Nailed on low scoring draw 1-1. Cmon Stoke.

What year was it that they scored a last minute winner thanks to a ball boy putting the ball near the corner flag?

I would have put my mortgage on Stoke Losing today. It’s the inconsistency over many years that kills you. After 3 x straight wins it will most likely follow with 3x straight losses as we play away in London against a strong QPR team. I hope I’m wrong and we can at least pick up a point. To be fair to MON I expected us to be around the 4th -10th position by Christmas and I think he’s done an excellent job. The injuries will hurt us but I believe with a couple of loan signings in Jan we can still finish in the top 6 and make the playoff final.

Just watched a replay of the game. How we didn’t win that I’ll never know. Multiple great chances wasted. penalties not given, A yellow for Scott from Bristol when it should have been red.. unbelievable. MON would be livid and if he’s not he should be.

Opportunity now for Tezgel to appear on the bench or too early? I’d personally give him the experience even though it puts him in the shopfront.

I always struggled to come on a a sub as you have been sitting in the cold on the bench, you aren’t warmed up properly, you struggle initially with the pace of the game and it’s bloody hard to breath after a few early sprints. I know Ty is a paid elite athlete and I wasn’t but I reckon he would be better off starting now and giving us 60 mins.

From a central role our defenders are strong but put the ball out wide and they haven’t got a clue. The last three games the majority of goals have come from the right back position. Do we not work at this in training?

Put it in perspective. Yes we are all pissed off at losing 3 in a row but.. we’ve lost to two of the top teams who will be in the top 6 in Sheff Utd & Bournemouth and we always struggle in London and we were without Powell. Looking at the next 10 games we can win 8 of these. Correct me if I’m wrong but we have only been out played twice by Fulham & Bournemouth this season and on another day we could have got something against Bournemouth. We are still equal 5th.
