I’m no fan of Fox believe me but the guys attitude and behaviour is absolutely disgusting. His total lack of respect for someone willing to fight for his country who was brutally murdered is an absolute disgrace. Free speech is fine but surely it has his limits or where does it end? Certainly not at “disgusting”. The whole point of free speech is that it permits people to say things you might find disgusting or disgraceful, it has no meaning otherwise. Depends who you are free speech should be for all, when it cross's over into incitement then it becomes a different matter.

I saw a big black cat on the outskirts of a village in Oxfordshire in January 2004. There had been a reported sighting in the area in 1998 by a delivery driver at 4am. I was walking the dog and saw it walking along the middle of a large ploughed field about 200 meters from me towards some woodland. People often compare them to the size of Labradors, but this was far far bigger. If you see one you'll know. At the time I was working with a lad I know who lived in the same village who's dad was a farmer. I was hesitant to tell him what I'd seen thinking he would take the piss, but when I told him he kept the straightest face and said "yes my dad has heard a couple of farmers who had sightings of the same". I was told by a good friend who at the time worked at Leek Police Station, they had regular people coming in to report a male walking on the moors who mysteriously vanished in front of them. It's the moonshine they brew up there boy, does strange things to ya.

Some people actually think this jihadi creature should be allowed back into our country, from the Independent:
The Manchester Arena attack was “justified” because of airstrikes that have killed civilians in Syria, Shamima Begum has claimed.
The 19-year-old, who is pleading to be repatriated from a detention camp in Syria, told the BBC it was “wrong that innocent people did get killed” in the 2017 atrocity.
But she compared the Manchester bombing to the “women and children in [Isis territory] being killed right now unjustly with the bombings”, adding: “It’s a two-way thing really because women and children are being killed in the Islamic State right now and it’s kind of retaliation. Their justification was that it’s retaliation so I thought OK that is a fair justification.” Isis claimed responsibility for Salman Abedi’s bombing, which killed 22 victims including young children, with a statement that claimed it was in response to “transgression against the Muslims”.
Almost identical wording, citing the international coalition, has been used for Isis statements claiming numerous terror attacks across Europe since spokesperson Abu Muhammed al-Adnani called for global atrocities in 2014.

The group’s propaganda used civilian casualties in airstrikes and alleged war crimes by its enemies to attract recruits and justify its own atrocities.
Ms Begum told the BBC she joined Isis aged just 15 in 2015 after watching its propaganda: “Not just the beheading videos, the videos they show of families in the park you know, the good life.”
She acknowledged her story may have inspired others to join Isis, adding: “I did hear a lot of people were encouraged to leave after I left but I wasn’t the one that put myself on the news.”

Blimey that’s soon passed. Even though this country is the world leader in extended mourning and justice seeking that can go on for decades this still unbelievable tragedy doesn’t seem to receive anywhere near the magnitude of “remembrance” nor general outrage that nothing more is being done to root out these mass murderers at source before they get anywhere near being able to slaughter our children on a whim. We are still tiptoeing around the Elephant in the room too scared of upsetting one particular religion/community.

The German city of Wuppertal is a linear industrial city a bit like Stoke. They have a wonderful overhead railway, the Schweberbahn linking the various parts of the city. It has become a tourist attraction in itself "Einmal in leben durch Wuppertal schweben" (once in a life time you have to go on the Schweberbahn). My old man was born in Wuppertal, the filthy Jerry😏 Some stunning city's in Germany love Lubeck with a trip to Travemunde thrown in.

Is there any thread where somebody doesn’t have a pop at Sam Vokes? Quite pathetic. I agree. He is quite pathetic. Needs to move on to a club who play a style that suits him. Is there really any professional club that would take him, I would if possible cancel his contract we can't even give him away and carry on paying all of his grossly inflated salary.

I like Charlie, don't care what anyone says. The stars were aligned with Hell the day he missed that penalty.(twice) It WAS bad and it negated the good memories many had of him. Even I was mad at him that day. But only the delusional didn't realize that we deserved relegation BEFORE that game ever took place. Charlie played for the shirt & loved the club. Ran out of gas awfully early, but he kept the local food shops in business and had a good sense of humor. I'd back him up in a fight any day. Vokes: 7-9 Million depending upon who you ask. I don't think he's fat or a "bad egg" but for 7-9 million, he sucks. That's not HIS fault - the club offered it and he took it. Just like I would have... and I suck worse. Indeed he really sucks he's sucking the life out of our club he's not alone though, at least most of the rest of the wasters have been hidden away out on loan sadly he's that poor no one else will take him even if we pay all his grossly over inflated wages, 10 mins a match for 33K a week 1 goal and no assists for a striker for a full season

Not really different from any of our shittest ever strikers. Bamber, Lethal Keith, Carruthers, Lightbourne were all figures of fun and ridicule well before mass access to the internet. When you're in that company, which he firmly is, then it is to be expected. Throw in a £9M price tag and I think he's getting away pretty lightly to be honest. I find it borderline creepy. Some people are obsessed. “Seen the new QPR kit?” “Yeah, that Sam Vokes is a right fat c**t” He would look great in hoops PLIBT

Another big cat allegedly spotted in Cheshire as well as recent images captured in Wales. This subject has always fascinated me since I was a kid but sightings do seem to be on the increase. Anybody got any stories to tell ? I have one but I’ll share it later. Some big pussies on here.

The days of driving into towns, parking close to the town centre, lugging shopping around and then driving out again are on their way out and planners/transport planners need to acknowledge and recognise this. Town centres will need to be a combination of residential/experience type environments, not places for shopping/work. It will also make places much more inviting generally and work to reduce environmental pollution. Other towns have already started doing this, pedestrianising streets and found that new bars/restaurants have 100% occupancy rates, jobs are created and new businesses come along. I’d prioritise on small local traders, cafes, restaurants, bars AND make it feel safe and rid the place of the scum. For me little niche type shops and some alternative foods, Greek, Cuban the list is not that hard to put together but in truth we’ll probably employ some idiot to redevelop things who has never visited the place who’ll put together some drawings of nice block paving and a family with a dog and a push chair when in truth it’ll never happen They need to rid the place of the scum that has taken over the place first and foremost, moving the Job Centre to Upper Huntbach Street was a major fcuk up it needs relocating back to where it was by the old unity house site keep them out of the centre itself, lock up the beggars and enforce a zero tolerance policy on the dregs that frequent the place.

In what way do Brighter Futures and their relationship with the council need investigating ? I used to have dealings with BF whilst working in the civil service and found them to be very caring and supportive of their customers, if you have any evidence to back this up you need to report it to the authorities. I know a few people who work for said organisation and the things they tell me about their practices and level of care they have for their clients in terms of finding long term solutions for them are quite eye-opening. Whilst I have no hard evidence to support their claims (although there's no reason for me to disbelieve the people passing on this information), it sounds like there's been a few brown envelopes passed to enable this service provider to continue to extract revenue from public coffers for a service that isn't delivering for both the city and the people who engage with it. I will be contacting someone about another matter next Monday who would be very interested in these allegations, PM me.

Been there done that got the t shirt you should try it you should give it a go might change your perspective on mass immigration and the real reason they chose the UK the benefits are clear and so much more generous than Spain duck Is that why you're not going to Spain after all? No don't need benefits I have a nice civil service pension that I have worked for, I don't have any intention of sponging off another country and their people.

Excellent news to have these plans. Even better if they get delivered! "We're going to be starting off with some specialist case worker roles. This is an example of how innovative this government is being around issues like immigration which people in Stoke-on-Trent feel so strongly about". You don't say! There's a job opportunity for you here, Crappy, a new asylum processing centre being established right on your doorstep, best get that suitcase for Spain packed... They need to get all the scum off the streets of Hanley for a start, we seem to have attracted the dregs of society from everywhere to our shitty centre. We haven't attracted them, our bent council is actively encouraging organisations that purport to look after these people with complex needs (but see them only as another means to extract money from the public purse) to import them to our city without considering the effect it will have on the area. Shiter Futures and its relationship with the city council wants investigating if you ask me (I don't hold out much hope of our high-quality local press to delve any deeper however, not when they can run stories about someone doing a shit in B&M or whip up division and hatred about a minority group/the working class/the terminally stupid). In what way do Brighter Futures and their relationship with the council need investigating ? I used to have dealings with BF whilst working in the civil service and found them to be very caring and supportive of their customers, if you have any evidence to back this up you need to report it to the authorities.

You do realise you've just resorted to childish name calling in your last post and are the biggest cry baby on here? You refuse to engage people in civilized debate and just throw insults about when you're not posting Twitter links and MEMEs (yes I know, I insult too but that's to a select few dicks who deserve it- at least I can debate with people I feel it's worth debating with). You're just the left wing equivalent of Crapslayer. White noise that everyone laughs at. Fuck me, even Vokeswagen and your mate RWB offer a bit of substance occasionally, and that's saying something. You offer nothing. Zilch. I don't expect a reply- I don't want one- but I'm astonished that someone with such remedial people skills such as yourself made it as a teacher. I can only assume it was in something less cerebral such as PE or making stuff out of wood 😀 Empty drums make more sound Amazing how the flagshagging gammons get so hissy on here innit? Like these racist flagshaggers Sir. Attachment Deleted
