Bristol were faster more organised movement off the ball was much more slicker in fact they looked like a team that knew what there system was & implemented it in very good way. They never looked in danger of losing control of the game MON has a lot of work to do if we are to improve on last season.

Bristol were in control from the start & never looked in trouble what defending they had to do they coped easily. Going forward they broke quicker & there pace & passing left us chasing shadows at times. Very worrying after a great result against the Wolves.

Some people were saying is MON the next Macari never in a million years Lou had a knack of making average players very good & playing a system that suited those players. Todays dreadful defeat is down to the manager & his tactics i see another season of struggle if we carry on like that.

He must be crazy has he not seen or heard Watfords record on managers. I believe if they had not sacked Pearson they would still be a premier league club.

I would rather Villa stay up as they would be a contender to go straight back up & could hinder us. The other 3 do not worry me at all & at least one of them could fall again into league 1 Bournemouth hopefully.

As I sat next to my two mates who are sadly Leeds fans , I sat back and thought could this really get any worse. I’m embarrassed of... The lack of fight The lack of quality The lack of leadership The worst defending I’ve ever seen Being totally out classed Staring relegation in the face whilst they stare at the premier league I just want to enjoy football again and I am absolutely seething with anger at each and everyone of those players. The chairman for not waking up when it was going wrong in the premiership, the chairman for saying “what’s all the fuss about” . The useless chief executive who by some miracle has spent millions on terrible players but still keeps his job The club is rotten, I’m giving up and I wish I could say I don’t care but I do, I really care but it’s exhausting Every single one of those players is an embarrassment and I hope there’s a protest Saturday. The kindest thing is to restart this club and maybe relegation might do us a favour I don’t know I share your despair it drains the life out of you & like you say the club is rotten. So many mistakes have been made over the last few years & this is the end result we now stare league 1 in the face. If we go down which i think we will now i can see it being for a good few years before we start to see any signs of a turnaround.

I was relieved as any Stoke City fan yesterday with a win that helped us escape the relegation mire. What I cannot except is that we played so marvellously better! Let's face it! Barnsley were absolutely horrendous in the first half of the game. Defensively they were horrendous! Three good finishes, two from set pieces and the other from terrible defensive play gave us breathing space we were crying out for. We still didn't really show any signs of being able to hold on to the ball for any great length of time and we also showed very little penetration that produced goal chances. When Barnsley attacked we still looked liable to concede! I hope this good result does not give our players a false sense of how "good" we are! I believe that the pending 12 point deduction for Wigan is a godsend and another three points will hopefully see us stay up! Totally true & we could come back down to earth with a bump on Thursday still plenty of twists & turns to come before this seasons over. Having said that if Luton can go to Leeds & get a draw i see no reason why we cannot get something from the game.

In the best part of the century or so before Peter Coates gained control of the club, Stoke had spent a total of 1 (one) season in Division 3. Then consider that this will be the 3rd time that he has relegated us to Division 3 in his various tenures. Yes, that's 3 times. Let that sink in for a moment! It should be clear to everyone by now that he, his family and their sycophantic hangers on (Scholes etc.) have absolutely no fucking idea how to run a football club. They lucked their way into the PL, no doubt arrogantly thinking it was solely their genius that got us there. They've all been massively found out now and they have absolutely no idea how to arrest our decline. Stoke is just a hobby, a useful distraction from their main business interests, and will be discarded like an old train set as soon as John gets bored, or more when likely Denise calls time on the whole shit show. Given that he has the worst record of any Stoke chairman in our long and undistinguished history, it is beyond me why so many Stoke fans think we should bend the knee to "St. Peter" just because he once got us to the Top Flight...where we'd spent the majority of our time before he fucking showed up anyway. It's cringeworthy, servile, unambitious bollox. The Coates family are one of the richest club owners in the world, if they had any ambition, any magnificence in their souls, Stoke would be competing for cups and European places on a regular basis. Instead, we had a mediocre decade in the PL and departed without a fight and a reputation for being a horrible hoofball team that everyone was glad to see the back of. It will take decades for us to shake that reputation if indeed, we ever do. John seems a nice bloke TBF but he's fucking clueless and so out of his depth its scary. Peter, like many self made millionaires, is arrogant, condescending and thinks everyone with a penny less than him (i.e. our fans) is a peasant...he's basically Mr Burns without the laughs. I remember Coates MK1 (and his infamous Golden share) and how much he was despised by all Stoke fans as he went about stripping the club of its assets and its dignity. So go now please Peter, John et al, sell us to someone who has some ambition and enough nous to install experienced football people to run the club. I'll take my chance with the Chinese, Portuguese etc, basically anyone who has ambitions to be more than drab and mediocre. It might work out, it might not, but to me a roll of the dice now is preferable to the slow death of the club that we are seeing played out before our eyes. 1 x FA Cup final, 2 x promotions and 4 x relegations. A fucking piss poor show for a family of local multi-billionaires who profess to love the club and have owned it for the best part of 30 years. Time to fold your cards and find another hobby, preferably one where you actually know what you're doing. I do believe that most of what you say is very true but who is going to come in & buy us the right time to sell would have been when we were in the premier league & had some value. Trying to sell a club thats sinking fasting than the titanic is going to be impossible & has very little value.

The coates need to take a long hard look at themselves they are shit at running a football club & perhaps its time to sell up. Look just down the road at Wolves who would have believed that within 3 years the tables would be turned upside down they are now pushing for a top 4 place from being in league 1. The coates family have wasted a fantastic opportunity they have dithered on sacking managers & then done the deed at completely the wrong time & not once either. Were we go from here nobody knows but i fear it could get even worse if they stay in control.
