Definately some wing backs maybe, although then you have the arguement of where to put Higgy. Wilko has been solid enough on the right, but I wouldnt be flustered if we brought in a new right back. i would love a decent replacement for higgy higgy imo should be first choice replacement centre half for abdy or ryan

My first priority would be a specialist attacking left back. I'd move Higgy alongside Ryan in the centre (which was Higgy best position in his first spell with us) and then use AB Faye as the defensive midfielder (a position where Bolton fans reckon he is even better than at centre back).
That would solve two problems - it would provide a better attacking option than Higgy on the flanks and give us the quality defensive midfielder which Diao has only occasionally been since his original loan spell here. I reckon AB Faye could be superb in midfield you can see when he has the ball in defence that he knows how to play and is totally unflappable in posession.

I'd rather have Higgy as cover for Abdy/Ryan. I know you can't judge a player on one game but nevertheless Abdy's centre mid performance against Everton didn't fill me with confidence. I don't see any need to play around with a central defensive partnership that seems to be working.

I'm not entirely convinced Campbell-Ryce is good enough for the Championship tbh. He's been around a while, if he was that good, surely someone would have shown an interest in him by now?

I know where you're coming from but it's just something inside telling me that he's got the potential, just need someone get it out of him. Take him in a shot if we, ahem, went down.

I don't think TP will get 30 million, and he will stick to who he knows and has tried for this season.
Any chance of Foster on loan?

i just love it how people are saying this n'daw m'bami whoever without ever seeing them play. In fairness, I watch a fair bit of French footy on Setanta and it's plausible a few others do. Plus, Mbami's been around for a decent while now and has competed in a few international tournaments, so he's not a complete unknown. N'Daw isn't as well-known, I'll give you that.

he will stick to who he knows and has tried for this season. Possibly, but you have to consider that if we stay up convincingly (or even just stay up) then there is every likelihood that he might now be able to attract players that he would not have gone in for during the first two transfer windows of our time in the Prem.
