DeLaet gone to Utd. Fucking great - another young player with OBVIOUS talent leaves the club. Never mind we can spend another £3million on the likes of Sonko. Good luck to the lad, they will coach him properly and he will eventually play or get a lucrative move, making himself good money and of course Utd money.
£3million Etherington - good player, but perhaps if Commons was given a chance and God forbid COACHED properly, then we would have the left sided player we have wanted for the last 5 seasons.
Two more forwards probably will be signed - great, but perhaps if Paterson was given a chance and God forbid COACHED properly, then we would not have had to endure Pericard as backup.
The managers record on bringing on young talent is abysmal.

your only saying he is talent because he went to manure if he went to fail for example you would be praising him for getting rid of the rubbish

Foster has done well there too hasn't he? Yes he has - picked for England no less, after only playing a handful of games. Also behind one of the best keepers in the World in Van de Saar. Fergie says it will be a shootout between Foster and Kuszczak next season. If Foster doesn't get in the team then he will get a move to another Prem club. By all means reply to posts mate, but make sure what you know what you're on about before making sarcastic comments eh? your only saying he is talent because he went to manure if he went to fail for example you would be praising him for getting rid of the rubbish Believe me, I would never praise Pulis.

Oi Sheikh. For all Pulis's successes, this is very strange isn't it? We had a 20 year old right back on the books who is now good enough for Man Utd, but he chooses to play Ryan Shawcross at right back in preference to him. Who the hell knows what is going on.

Eeer, yep, thats right.
When your untried players go to ManYou, they are obviously quite good?
If they go out to the Vale, then they obviosuly are not?
We seem to keep most of the rubbish though (VP etc!) and they get a game!

That is why he decided to leave - i think we can all see that he would never be first choice, so i'm not quites sure wht else Pulis could do? As for Delaet, you say obvious talent, but how many people had been screaming for him to get in the team??

You wouldn't be surprised if the De Laet deal was never anything to do with anyone at SCFC, and it was always agreed he'd leave at a time of Man Utd's choosing, in return for a fee for parking him here and giving him a taste of English football.

If that's true then I take everything back and Tony Pulis is the new Brian Clough ;D

I haven't a clue gm. FM's explanation above might be correct but being Man Utd's little lady boy whores doesn't sit well with me either if that's true. I'm less concerned with Shawcross playing right back as idiotic as that was but if we have genuine defensive talent in reserve, wasting a couple of million on the horrendously wank Sonko looks even more perplexing.

De Laet won't get anywhere near United's 1st team, they have that youngster from Brazil i think (forget his name) who is there next right back.
The comment about playing Shawcross at right back vs Blackburn instead of De Laet is rediculous, Ryan has plenty of 1st team experience, throwing De Laet in there based purely on potential would have the fans calling for TP's head, some fans will complain whatever team he puts out, its in there nature to do so.

One thing that no one has mentioned is the lure of Man Utd, especially to players from abroad. If they come knocking, then not many clubs are going to be able keep a young player like De Laet. They may not be buying him for their first team but as a player to ship on for £250k + sell on after he has been in the Man U ranks. They must have over 50 "squad" players and I will be surprised if more than 10% make it full time in their first team. The others they ship on at a rate higher than the likes of other Prem clubs get. A good way of keeping their revenue rolling in!

TP is what he is and we know he doesn't value youth and skill over experience and aaardwork. So its unlikely we will see real gems rising through the ranks and getting a game if there is an experienced aquare peg to be put in a round hole. To be fair though while we are battling against relegation throwing in unproven kids probably isn't going to work. I have to admit like many others is a bit of a shock.....manure are can afford to be very choosy about which young players they sign.

Commons, Patto and Henry are all in the league below aren't they?
When they do it in the Prem then I might even give the slightest fuck what you PHWs think.
Given your past claims that SuperTone would do nothing for us then then forgive me for ignoring your coments as lame point scoring against Pulis.

Your post is nonsense mate, sorry, commons and pato could have stayed but both would have been squad players with us, commons when good is wonderful but he is very inconsistent, which says something about why none of his clubs since stoke have done anything.
Patto has done well in the championship , and could have stayed but would have only ever been a squad player.
He isnt premiership standard.
Commons could be if he was consistent but he never has been

"Commons, Patto and Henry are all in the league below aren't they?"
Which is the level that most of our squad should be playing at.
Meantime their stock is rising, whereas our players' is in decline. Who do you think would be stupid enough to pay us £2m for Sonko, Soares or Tonge? Or £5.5M for Kitson?
"When they do it in the Prem then I might even give the slightest fuck what you PHWs think"
We are in the relegation zone - does that count as 'doing it'?

I could say the same about you claiming Henry was wank, now that he's the ever present captain of a very good Wolves side.
And you know I hate to punch fucking great holes in the rest of your argument, but weren't we in the championship when we were letting these players go? Just for the record.
