Actually he didn't. From the video I saw on you tube he made sure he was followed everywhere by a camera from start to finish and wasn't involved in anything unsavoury. He led them down Whitehall mate and ultimately there were over a hundred arrests, with two coppers being put in hospital But oh no, it's all the fault of the police! 🙄 If you watch the numerous videos on YouTube it was caused by the police. They told people to go on a previously agreed route and then for some unknown reason blocked that route and didn't communicate any alternative. Granted they shouldn't have reacted why they did but there appears to be no reason why the police did what they did.

Talking if MSM reporting "standards" and/or bias. I'm no fan of Tommy Robinson whatsoever but I saw this story today. It's strange is it not that there were no MSM at Westminster Court this morning to report that the Met case against Tommy Robinson had been thrown out by the judge with "no case to answer". This followed him being arrested in London in November having just had breakfast in a cafe with his family (it was one of his kids birthdays). He was handcuffed and then pepper sprayed. This apparently took more than a dozen officers to make the arrest. Amazingly when the case came to trial yesterday every police officer had "lost" all their body cam footage of the arrest, the arresting officer/s had incorrectly completed the paperwork, and one of the Met's senior officers had said TR shouldn't have been arrested. Wonder if it'll be reported on tonight's news bulletins as they are such sticklers for the truth. I'm pretty sure it relates back to this - www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-67545868This is what he was banned from attending and got arrested for attending as far as I'm aware. And that was because zionist extremists put pressure on the police to ban him from the march. The common denominator are zionists. The fact Tommy isn't calling them out for it is a big red flag because if it was anyone else he would.

The Police have said (as already posted on this thread) that there was a designated route for them to follow and they decided to ignore them and go into Whitehall where they hadn't stopped the traffic. The police asked them to return to the area which they had agreed with the organisers but they refused. How on earth is this the police 'causing it for some unknown reason'?

Every year the question comes up "Oh why don't we do more to celebrate St Georges Day?".
The answer to which is probably because most people don't want to get their heads kicked in.

Police horse clearly had it coming, sickening ... So a small clip that's edited with no context around it. I've watched numerous videos and the manhandling started by the police. Horses barging people, kettling of groups and arrogant policing all for a St George's day march, not a anti-UK political protest march

Embarrassing is the word and I’m embarrassed to be associated with it. Virtue signalling, self righteous, terrorist sympathisers coming out and slagging the people of the country they live in off at every opportunity whilst being completely at ease with an increasingly lawless society created by this rotten government and biased MSM. Stop the world I’m getting off.

Or are you making a different point? Tbh mate if that's the only trouble for the day then we shouldn't judge the majority by a few. I've not really looked into the finer details in relation to what caused it all but it is what it is. I was just enjoying winding up knype and crouchpotato because they're the first to jump on the peace marches when there's a small incident. St Paddy's day is always a great family event in Ireland. England should be the same for St Georges. Scots and Irish already get more bank Holidays than the English. It should be made into a bank holiday for English only and properly celebrated.

It's celebrating England, it's culture, values and benefits. Those who object should piss off to another country if they don't like or appreciate it. I live in Belgium and I would never disrespect the country, because I live here and benefit from the means it provides. Even though the tax is horrendous 😀 Anyway, I expect the same from anyone living in any country. If you don't like it, fuck off somewhere else.

Got to laugh at LinkedIn. For Ramadan/Eid, diwali and others the posts from box ticking corporates are relentless. For St Georges day, nothing, literally nothing! I guess it doesn't earn them enough virtue signalling points.

Anyone who has an objection or criticism of celebrating the patron Saint of England is a nob imo. I'm not sure too many people do object. However there seems to be an expectation that somehow we should all go out and get rat arsed like the Irish. In fact the OP was "Will there be many folk around our great country suited and booted celebrating with a few beers?". If that's what folk want to do crack on - no-one's stopping them - just don't make an issue about the fact that might not be what everyone wants to do. St George is a Christian saint so perhaps celebration should be in church or with traditional English passtimes not seeing how much foreign lager you can neck.
