No whoosh here mate, they’ll be plenty of folk in Derby tomorrow in front of the Guildhall and around certain bars And? No one will be arrested simply for celebrating St George's Day Thats out and out paranoia Undoubtedly lots will be arrested for drunken and disordedly behaviour, public order offences but that's not the same thing

Maybe they could make it a public holiday? Wouldn’t that be a good way to create some sort of special feeling to the day? I’m honestly confused as to why it isn’t.

I think there's a St. George's Day celebration in Whitehall today. Apparently they weren't allowed to hold it in Trafalgar Square for some reason.
Anyway,
HAPPY ST. GEORGE'S DAY EVERYONE 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴

I'd pay good money to see you Morris dancing! I’m sure you would 🤣i William Shakespeare's birthday today as well (460) -and I know you like a sonnet. Apparently Paul Spencer saw him on the West Holt Stage long before he made it big and McMuffin used to drink with his brother in Singapore.

I see Andrew Rosindell has been rather vocal in the Commons these days after his two year exclusion while being investigated for Rape and Sexual Assault His latest interjection is that he wants a Government Minister appointed with direct responsibility for protecting national symbols and flags. There would also be a week each year of Patriotism celebrating Englishness I'm not sure the rumour is true that his next proposal is to appoint a Minister of Silly Walks www.google.com/amp/s/www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1891149/Andrew-Rosindell-campaign-St-George/amp

It's a curiosity that England should have as its Patron Saint a Turkish chap that never set foot in England
He is also the Patron Saint of Albania, Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Greece, Georgia, Portugal, Romania, Syria and Lebanon which might explain why so many of the citizens of those Countries make extraordinary efforts to get to England, unlike George obviously who couldn't be arsed.
