He’s always been a really really good footballer. He’s always been a really really good footballer at League One level. Fixed that for you. Some things will never change….. James McClean crosses will keep giving full backs bruises on their ass cheeks. Hoever will keep instantly morphing from TAA with the ball into Derek Statham without it, Ben Pearson will be booked within minutes of setting foot on a pitch. Bayern will slate players who consistently prove him wrong while telling us all about the great players we let go (to lower leagues football in England, Belgium, etc). No. He’s always been a really good footballer.

A Sandford, Higginbotham, or even Martins Indi type.

According to someone I used to work with in Lincoln the big rumour at their ground is a return for Lasse Sorensen as he’s out of contract. Developed into a really, really good footballer they’d all love to keep but missing out on the playoffs just about killed it off for them. He’s always been a really really good footballer. Either way, Lincoln fans used to think he was crap when he first arrived. Apparently put on a lot of size and that now marries up to the footballing side of him.

Apparently put on a lot of size and that now marries up to the footballing side of him. The issue with him was his position and how that sits outside of a very good team. He was a DM that could spray the ball accurately over long distances but past the best teams you can’t really do that. Fabulous fabulous footballer though and always has been.

I thought Jared knows the best LB in Sweden, somehow this is more acceptable. Whoever it is needs the physical attributes for the Championship.

Neat and tidy, seen much worse but 'fabulous' that's OTT He could probably play Championship and be OK

Apparently he’s a 28 year old Zimbabwean international. The second one we have had behind….?

Meanwhile Jacob Brown who you frequently slated for his ability is a full international and a Premier League player. And he’s just one example of many.

He’s fucking injured and we sold that fucker at exactly the right time. He’s injured. Ok. And? How exactly is that relevant? He’s not playing for anyone. And is still a pretty shit footballer. Fantastic application and decent finisher when he doesn’t have time. But playing above his station because he’s a grafter for two teams that are underdogs. If that’s your thing then fair enough. I’d rather watch football than athletes. I actually think our overuse of him has probably led to his current injury and that’s a shame for the lad.

I’d have Rhys Norrington-Davies back I think he would suit Shueys fast paced pressing football

Can we expect to see Sorensen in the Premier League soon then? Because really really good footballers tend to end up there.

Depends how old he is tbh. Definitely could see him at that level in a few years if he’s only 22/23 now but I have no idea how old he is.

As I mentioned in other threads, Coady and Souttar, back line sorted. Up front if we have money, Brereton Diaz.
