Will be interesting to see how much we have to spend and where we stand re FFP. There must be a fair amount being freed up with all those leaving
I can see something like
New GK
Junior Wilmot or Rose New CB new LB or Stevens
Burger New CM / Pearson New AM / Cundle ??
Manhouf New Str Bae
first game

According to someone I used to work with in Lincoln the big rumour at their ground is a return for Lasse Sorensen as he’s out of contract. Developed into a really, really good footballer they’d all love to keep but missing out on the playoffs just about killed it off for them.

Priorities have to be the spine of the side.
I'd be back in for Travers.
I'd also consider a move for McNally if it works for both parties but he needs a solid leader of a centre half next to him.
We absolutely need a centre forward who knows where the goal is. Outputs from the front line this season have been quite frankly appalling.
Then we need a proper left back as well. Enda Stevens has made a MASSIVE difference to the overall balance of the squad.

Hearing Schumacher talk about the player ability, just lacking belief, and not representative of where we are in the league, you’d think some could stay if they get their attitude right. That being said, we shouldn’t let the euphoria of staying up cloud judgement because some players really are shite…..no time for sentiment if we want to get back on track. This is my view as well. I don't think we can afford nor necessarily need to rip up the whole side again but we do need to be fairly brutal in identifying areas where we simply must do better. The forward area is the most obvious one. Jury is still out on Mmaee but I'd let Campbell go and look to replace.

If I had to sign someone, I'd go for Chido Obi Martin, who tends to score 5-10 goals per game. He's Danish-Anglo. Apparently he can't make up his mind which of those two nations he wants to star for. I'd say his chances are bigger for Denmark, once Højlund's goals dry up, if they haven't already. But any bids for him would probably be blocked by the matchless Stoke fanbase. Because he currently plays for Arsenal...where he will probably never get a senior game, because of their big name signings. Meet them and ourselves halfway and sign him as a loan next season. I’ve edited my post above. Is there any chance of Bjorkan, berg or Hauge? Who...?

Need to land on a top striker, but these are like hens teeth. Be good to go in for Jay Stanfield from brum. Need to stay away from the retirement pile. Good news for our club is that some of our talented players we have on contracts.

I’d offer Stevens a year extension as cover for the new left back. He would be able to play some cup games and be a good experienced head in the dressing room.

If Birmingham go down, Miyoshi and Dembele would both be good signings for any championship team

I’ve edited my post above. Is there any chance of Bjorkan, berg or Hauge? Who...? All 3 are Bodø Glimt players. I'd really like to see Bjørkan here as he is a very decent left back and also good going forward. Berg is a good player, but I don't think we should spend money on that kind of player with Pearson, Burger and Thompson able to play in that position. Hauge was very promising a couple of years ago when Rome bought him, but I sort of feel he has stalled a bit. I would rather have a player like Dembele at Birmingham if possible. I also like Bodø Glimt's central defender Gundersen a lot as he could be the central defender Norway have been looking for.

Stevens was never going to be fit for 40+ games this season, never mind next. I'm happy to extend for a year but he can't be first choice. 22, 12 and 20 apps in the last 3 years tells a story. To make Schueys system work the new LB has to a defender firstly and quick with a good engine.

Seen him twice this season and he ran the game on both occasions. Not only that he seems to have a nasty, arrogant streak destined for higher things. Impressive. Less sure about Sorensen.

Because, sadly, he's knackered yesterday was a good example, second half he was really struggling he's not up to Championship football Saturday, Tuesday and struggles with 90 minutes I say sadly because when he plays for about an hour he looks very good for this level

According to some Eric Pieters is coming on a free as a back up, which suggest a younger number one will be a target?.

I know he's a Stoke fan but you're in cloud cuckoo land if you think Bereton Diaz is a possibility this summer. He’s shown way more than enough to get a PL move. He just reeks of Dyche to me. The build of a centre forward but plays on the left. Can see him doing well at Everton.

He’s always been a really really good footballer at League One level. Fixed that for you. Some things will never change….. James McClean crosses will keep giving full backs bruises on their ass cheeks. Hoever will keep instantly morphing from TAA with the ball into Derek Statham without it, Ben Pearson will be booked within minutes of setting foot on a pitch. Bayern will slate players who consistently prove him wrong while telling us all about the great players we let go (to lower leagues football in England, Belgium, etc).

Norrington Davies and who else?. Not sure I was that impressed by ND though?. How many loan players have done well at this place recently?.. Max Lowe is the other. Can see there being a big shake up at Sheffield so who knows who's on the chopping block.

I don't think we can really speculate on who will be arriving, until we know which out of contract players will be leaving & which of the loanees won't be coming back?.

Good news for our club is that some of our talented players we have on contracts. Stansfield be realistic you'd think as unlikely to feature for Fulham next season. A season long loan be ideal. 12 goals not a bad return this season . We need 2 strikers who can hit double figures as these 20 goal a season strikers we keep hearing about aren't around
