Anyone having a go at him for blocking that shot needs their head looking at. As frustrating as it was, it was just bad luck. His goal wasn’t luck though, a quality finish under a lot of pressure and I reckon anyone else in our side would have missed that, possibly not Mahoef Tbf have you seen how many 1v1 manhoef has missed?

Another addition to the list of a fuck load of players who move through our club, trudging through shit, leaving shit behind, to do better elsewhere. Fait accompli, avec shit

Scores the equaliser then blocks the winner. Don't know what to say Probably best to say nothing. He scored us an important equaliser. The block was just very unfortunate. He should be getting praise not getting picked up for the ball hitting him

Would start him next week myself instead of Laurent. On the back of that goal and playing against his former team could be the game for him!

He’s wank. No conversation to be had. Had he not scored, you wouldn’t have known he was playing But he did score. This. I don’t like Cundle. However, you can’t just disqualify the idea that he scored so easily. It was literally a game changing moment.

Not really the time for him to come here and he has struggled, manager has done the right thing to limit his time and bring him on from the bench.
Looks keen and has great stats - so possibly one for the future

I'd play a traffic cone before Laurent. You'd get more mobility and better positioning from a traffic cone. A traffic cone would however have failed to clear that late header off the line and we’d have lost 2-1. But yeah in midfield the traffic cone would have been useful.

He gets sbout the pitch and opens games up when the space is available later on his problem like Juno and million is when games are tight early on they aren’t yet able to impose themselves .

Yeah it really was, manhoef has missed about 4 of those. That goal probably makes Cundle the best finisher at the club.

Fair enough. I think he's been absolutely dreadful. I think the team in general has been dreadful, a 21 year old loanee joining mid season was hardly likely to revive our fortunes single handedly. He has been average but not dreadful. I think people are annoyed by the naivety of the manager, as it is perceived that Cundle took priority over other areas of the pitch. If we trust Schumacher for next season then he should be backed with the players he wants, I’d have nothing against Cundle playing for us next season.

He’s wank. No conversation to be had. Had he not scored, you wouldn’t have known he was playing Disagree! Always shows for the ball and links play nicely. He actually starts the move which he blocked and him and junho are good together We’d score far more goals with them two or two of that type playing behind a decent striker with Burger/Pearson/Tommo at DM. Than playing Laurent as an advanced midfielder, I can only assume he keeps telling successive managers he can play the role he clearly can’t. He needs an injection of nasty and playing as a DM/deep lying midfielder or not at all and why do we keep playing Baker as a deep lying midfielder when he’s also a massive Fanny. He’s not defensive he’s not creative he’s just got a good long range shot so if he’s has the to play you want him around the edge of the box.

He has missed a few but at least he’s always trying to be positive. I’ll take him over Haksabanovic 8 days a week. On the Cundle goal it was one of the best most composed finishes we’ve seen from a Stoke player all season maybe we haven’t seen anything like the best of him in his short time here. His lack of physical stature concerns me but Schu likes smaller more technical players.

I just have a nagging and very negative feeling that the friendly fire block from Bae will go down as a Charlie Adam penalty type moment.

That blocked shot could have gone the other way, leaving their keeper stranded and wrong footed.
Would that have been 2 goals to Cundle?

Yeah but finishing does help and he at least has a bit of ability other than just scoring. We don't have anyone who has owned that position for a long time. Mmaee was the best we have and he's out for the season and doesn't score much, Campbell has it in him but he just isn't anywhere near the player he was a couple of years ago. Ennis for all his efforts still needs to do a lot of work on his game but he can improve, his touch really needs work. In the situation we are in we just need someone there who can finish a chance and perhaps has the ability to create a chance for themselves. I'm not seeing much from our strikers which make them a better option
