Got to be honest my heart sank when I saw he was starting, even after last week, but he was excellent. Good vision, link up play, quick feet. Fair play to the lad.

Excellent today. On the basis of that I'd sign him if he's available for a million or so £1. 5m was the reported fee in January unlike Hoever wages won't be an issue Definitely a player there but we have too many central midfielders imo and want to see Sidebe promoted Can see the manager wants him

He’s been shite for 90% of the time he’s been here but he’ll look good in his last 2-3 games. If he continues like that until the final ball of the last game, I say we take a punt on him and try our hardest to get rid of Laurent and probably Baker as well.

His goal last week was crucial and was superbly taken.
Tremendous today but up to this he’s been way off.
If you were to judge on his overall contribution you’d probably pass on trying to sign him.
I’d like to see him start last two games to see which Cundle turns up

I’d like to see him start last two games to see which Cundle turns up There were glimpses of what he can offer from day one and personally I thought he was getting a lot of unfair criticism. The big problem hasn't been individual performances, it's been teamwork. Yesterday we looked like a proper team and with everyone playing well individuals had the chance to shine and show what they can do, Cundle included

Snatched from a Plymouth side who assessed their options and took Alfie Devine on loan. This caused a gaping hole to appear in the Vale team, coinciding with a terrible run of form since January.
It follows that Cundle is pivotal against Sheffield Wednesday and his former team, Vale are relegated and Alfie Devine is booked for diving.
3D chess from the recruitment team.

It was a pleasure to watch Cundle today but is he worth a gamble at £1.5 million on the back of one outstanding performance?

Excellent today. On the basis of that I'd sign him if he's available for a million or so There were a couple out there I’d take from Wolves for the right money. Cundle or a slightly more robust version of the same type of player like Junho I thought they combined fantastically yesterday that was proper Schuball.

It was a pleasure to watch Cundle today but is he worth a gamble at £1.5 million on the back of one outstanding performance? 500k -750k rising to 1.5m I think I could stomach for him. He’s a decent enough player, and does bring something slightly different in being able to move the ball quickly and the run beyond the striker. But lack of physicality it a concern

If we do sign him I don’t think he’ll be a player for every game but in the right circumstances it’s great to watch.

It was a pleasure to watch Cundle today but is he worth a gamble at £1.5 million on the back of one outstanding performance? Are there players of the right profile out there that aren’t a gamble for £1.5M or less? In the mad world of football finances it’s peanuts.

He’s had a good game against his former club. We shouldn’t be making rash decisions based on a game where he played like he has never shown that desire since joining us.
He was man of the match for me.
But it also highlighted how he turned it on and what sort of that character that is that he couldn’t be arsed previously.

For the majority of his time here we’ve been playing a completely different brand of football to yesterday. A few initial games finding his feet playing with forwards who couldn’t finish their breakfast before we went into attrition mode that isn’t something he’s ever going to excel at.
