Theres a good player there in Cundle. Just dont think he slotted straight in at first has taken time, we have needed to be playing more positive (not on the back foot) and you can see why SS likes him. I wasnt to sure on him at first but hes ok. Young with potential.

A goal and one decent performance and the previous few months are forgotten about. Sidibe should be in front of him.

I wasnt to sure on him at first but hes ok. Young with potential. This is Cundle in a nutshell. When we’re playing attacking football and taking the game to the opposition, he looks the business. If we go defensive or we’re being pegged back, he’s totally ineffective. If Schuey manages to build an attacking side then Cundle could be an important part of that. But he won’t play all games as there will be physical teams like Millwall where Cundle is too lightweight.

Sol plays deeper not much and he's box to box if Bae is to play wide left then we can make room for Cundle and Sol by moving on Johnson and 1 of Pearson, Baker or Laurent (or even 2 of them) If the plan is to move Bae behind the striker and get a left winger in then there probably isn't room for both in which case I agree Cundle has promise but Sol has far more promise A season on loan might work for Sol but really think he can be in and around first team next season he really looks the part.

He's taken a while to settle but I think we're now seeing the true player, at anywhere near £1.5m he's an absolute steal,

If he plays well in the last 2 games, then we should try and get him, either sign or loan.

Depends who leaves ..... If we manage to get rid of Pearson and Johnson I think there is room for him and maybe on more.
If Baker leaves then we have room for him and one more.
Its clear Scheuy sees a player in there.

I think people are overthinking it.
Cundle did all of the things that he usually does on Saturday. He was energetic, neat and carried the ball. He's a 'nice' player. It just so happened that we were playing against one of the most lightweight teams I've ever seen, which meant that those attributes really stood out. The same thing allowed Jordan Thompson to have the best game I can recall him having for us.
When we play against a team of standard Second Division cloggers who flood the midfield, he's much less effective. I'm not sure if it's worth persevering with him to see if we can make him more robust next season.
I never really understood Ibrahim Affelay as a player.

He’s not going to bulk up significantly though. He’s slightly built and short. So is Bernardo Silva you say….

In a minority, but I really like him. Good football brain and decent footballers as well. More than has the capability to play at speed and high tempo if needed. If you give me the option of Pearson or the hapless Lauren it’s a no brainier.

I think if we don't, we'll be saying 'why didn't we keep them' as they play well for another champo side. Not sure on Cundle (60:40 keep after last two games) but would keep Hoevs. We'll need 3-4 new first teamers anyway so a bit of continuity won't hurt.
