Rick Astley? his performances at Glastonbury last year were excellent including his drumming piece too! It's cabaret.

Pretty cool video that in the opening post.
David Bowie's got to be the best?
I haven't seen mentioned:
Ozzy Osbourne (some of his best stuff is outside of Black Sabbath) Brian Eno Steven Wilson
In recent years, I think Paul Steel is a genius and massively under-appreciated. Absolutely brilliant the time I saw him live too.
If we include the British Isles, then Gilbert O'Sullivan.

"Alone Again (Naturally)" has to be just about the most heartbreaking/depressing song ever written in the English language. "Claire" was a bit creepy though@

Robbie Williams has zero credibility. He's the Cliff Richard of his time.
Fine with a list that includes Ronan Keating and Liam Payne, but nothing else.

Off the top of my head, some that haven't been mentioned.. Seal Richard Thompson Martin Joseph John Smith Luke Jackson I suppose it's a bold claim dropping an unknown name like Luke Jackson in amongst some of the names here, but for every Ed Sheeran that gets a lucky break, there are so many others with just as much talent (or more), working their asses off playing small venues like ours to make a living. Give him a listen, he's worth it
