www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-championship/Can't see any way to avoid a fortnight of sleepless nights unless we win. This predictor would send you mad if you spent enough time on it! Amazing how that Plymouth win has basically made them safe barring a miracle. A heavy defeat at Southampton could lead to all kinds of potential goal difference-related shenanigans with Huddersfield. Sunderland 1-1 Millwall Hudds 2-1 Swans Rotherham 1-2 Bham Stoke 1-1 Plym Bburn 1-2 Weds QPR 1-1 PNE QPR 0-1 Leeds Bburn 1-2 Cov Mwall 1-1 Plym Soton 3-0 Stoke Hudds 2-2 Bham Weds 1-1 WBA ....would leave you with his heading into the last day!

Thats 12 results that's pools win level of predictions Just beat Plymouth, sorted And if not still have a fallback v Bristol City (accepting defeat at Saints highly probable) 2 draws might be enough

If we can’t beat Plymouth then it’s skid mark time for the last few weeks. To be fair, if we don’t beat them you can’t argue we don’t deserve it, we’ve been so shit at home for the last two years and I don’t think we’ve been that unlucky this season.
Neither Neil or SS have cut the mustard I’m afraid. Both seem to hit on a decent formula only to ditch it a few weeks later after 1 or 2 poor results. Be nice to have a manager who gives us an identity that’s something other than scared, low scoring and sort of gutless as that’s what we’ve been for at least 2 seasons now if not longer

Just working out from my table If (big if..) we win Sat, and Huddersfield/Weds both lose, we are safe unless there is a massive goal swing (50 points for us and a -16-18 GD, Hudd/Weds on 44pts with -23/-31 GD and worsening) There's 4 goals different between ourselves and Huddersfield. Our last 2 defeats have been by 3 goal margins. Huddersfield also have 6 more goals scored. I don't think it guarantees anything. All hypothesis, but... if we won 2-0 our GD would be -17 if they lost 2-0 their goal diff would be -25 It would be a massive turnaround to get an 8 goal swing and 6 points in 2 games considering they play a desperate Brum (be a tense game, and even if they did thrash Brum thats good also!) and then Ipswich away!

But if you swap the shorelines round in your hypothetical we end up on same points and goal difference with them ahead on goals scored. Still too tight to call but get where you're coming from as a win and loss for them means they need us to gain no more points while they gain max points and close the GD gap.

That 3 games that have to one way plus Stoke have to lose And Plymouth have to win too Thats 5 results, only 1 goes another way and there's no danger And if anyone is shot it's Blackburn Edit: and even if all that comes to pass we still have another game This is the kind of negativity that sees Stoke fans werriting when 4 up at Wembley

We’ll be fine but with Sheff Wed winning today it could well go to the final day :-(

Hopefully Bristol City live up to their boring Monica last day There seems to be some delusion regarding Bristol, who are currently top of the form guide over six matches in the division. Southampton in 6th and over 8 matches they are 3rd and 5th respectively. www.footballwebpages.co.uk/bristol-city/form-guide

Bet365 have Stoke as 500/1 for relegation. Get a tenner on that if your stressing - £5k will ease the pain if somehow the combination of games goes against us.

The joys of being a stoke fan mate, it's not over till it's over, I did indeed enjoy it after as the coach we used on matchdays had some Newcastle fans on (relatives of friends who can down and worked the pits) and going up to the ground they were very condescending about the ground and our team so the journey home was very good.

Assuming we didn't pick another point up, If any of Brum or Sheff lose 1 of the last 2 they can't catch us, ideally Huddersfield beat Brum then we are safe regardless of what happens.
