I’m fortunate to be able to get to pretty much go to most Stoke matches home and away. Within ten minutes I said to my 13 yr old lad, it’s a horrible atmosphere today. To many people there today with a very aggressive, negative and abusive attitude, it was like they wanted it to happen. Strange

Two nill down after 20 minutes and barely broke a sweat to stop it from happening, add that to the absolute garbage that we’ve endured for the past 6 years.
There were lots of negative chants today, but honestly what do you expect?
People’s patience is wearing thin.

Good, sick of the apathy, get some passion there and tell them what we really think.
Finally.

They pay their money. As did I, £100 easy today and it was garbage. Result is one thing, lack of effort and basic fundamentals is another.
37 minutes gone, 3-0 down and 3.5k fans chanting you’re not fit to wear the shirt in a relegation battle with the most out of form team in the league, yeah, as say a bit of aggression is probably justifiable.

Strange what is up with people?!! years and years of shit and a team that visibly don’t give a fuck and you call out those who’ve spent good money travelling to watch that shit. People have had a enough!!

Good point. What have you been doing to address it? You asking me? Nope. Dancingwithclams has said that they doesn’t understand why fans are so accepting, so I was wondering what their active rejection looked like. I was just being an argumentative so-and-so 😂

Agree with the OP, there seemed a very toxic atmosphere today, fans fighting with each other, berating every player
That said we were wank.....again, but I don't like the fighting

Oh yeh - FFS Clams what the hell have you been playing at? Why aren’t you at the transfer negotiations, player meetings, training sessions? Fucking light-weight shelled twat.

Every one of them, including the Manager, were shite today…they deserve every bit of abuse they get.

Ask the question - how the actual fuck has it taken this long for our support to decide enough is enough?
Granted, nobody wants to be part of it, but it’s long overdue.
The club is in dire straits

There was definitely an edge today that wasn't there when I went Leicester and Coventry away.
But I don't blame the fans, we're just fucking pissed off with things.

Now we’ve got the richest owners barring the elite and we’re worse than I can remember. But god forbid we speaks out. Let’s just happy clap to the 3rd tier

Sometimes things just come to a head. It’s been 7 years of decline with zero signs of any improvement or willingness to admit mistakes. This last 12 months has got gradually worse and then you turn up against a relegation rival and that happens. Sometimes big followings help, sometimes they backfire like that. It was an unacceptable performance and result leaving us looking perilously close to the drop. Fans are hardly going to be jumping for joy.
I said to get behind them (or at least the boss) last week in times of hardship, but what’s the point when they can’t even be arsed to put it in for you? Maybe make them play with a bit of fear in them for the last few months and see if that works.

Ask the question - how the actual fuck has it taken this long for our support to decide enough is enough? Because we got rid of Neil and went 8 or something Unbeaten while playing some solid exciting football, granted we had trouble finishing but we were creating and defensively solid. Everything was looking rosy for a while and we were all positive about the future until the wheels all of a sudden well and truly came off ever since the Birmingham game. I find it strange how quick the mood has flipped

Fuck settling for uninterested shithouse charlatans. They need hear it Someone who goes to most home and away games is what is wrong with the club? The support, good or bad is not what’s wrong with the club. The ownership and their decision making capacity is.
