Tyrese should be given a clean slate under Schumacher too..he hasn't had chance yet Not sure he needs one with the people who make the decisions. The last 2 have played him pretty consistently when fit I’d be surprised if this one didn’t too. Quite simply he’s our best forward player. It’s a section of the fans who have a problem with Campbell. 100% our best forward player, its just a shame at the moment he has poppadom legs.. reminding me of a certain Nick Powell at the moment with his injury record. I'd love to get Ty a run of 10+ games..

Yeah OK then scoring less goals is mainly a problem with the defence Should have realised it was McNally and Rose's fault and not Mmaee, Wesley and Gayle being shit CF's If the defence isn't reliable the midfield have to do more to make up for their deficiencies which in turn means the midfield are doing less to support the strikers or get into goal scoring positions themselves. It isn't that our strikers are missing chance after chance - we are not creating chances in the first place and that's because the midfield aren't getting up the pitch to support the strikers. If you want to play attacking football your defence actually has to be be better than it needs to be to play defensive football because the defence is going to be exposed more as a result of the midfield committing to attack and the midfield aren't supplement the defence as much. If Schumacher wants to play attacking football his first priority has to be to sort out our flakey defence so that we can play in the front foot without getting caught out at the back. Just chucking a new striker on there won't make a blind bit of difference because as it stands they won't get the service. Take away the Brighton goals, the defence have done better than you would expect under your theory then. We have definitely moved more men up the field and attacked at every opportunity only conceding two in four matches. Our goal threat and goals scored though has not improved which suggests our lack of creativity needs improvement. That is exactly what Cundle does

Might be better for Stoke but I think both Taylor and Forrester had reached an age where fourth choice at a Championship team wasn't what they wanted. Both had been given first team opportunities and neither did enough to prove they were good enough and were getting to an age where they were too old to be playing in the youth team, were themselves just making up the numbers and would only be blocking the route for younger players. It is a fact of a footballers life that sometimes they end up playing at a lower level than they expected. Some make it back, many don't. Doesn't look like Forrester will. Forrester who plays pretty regularly at the club second in the league below us. Why doesn’t it look like he’ll make it back to this level? According to transfermarkt he has played 3 times for Bolton this season, all in the efl Cup. I can't find any list of appearances he has made in Div 1. Might be wrong, I stand to be corrected if you know otherwise

That is exactly what Cundle does In the games before Brighton we still made some howlers at the back but this time got away with them. There have been quite a few times this season where we've been caught out pressing and teams have ripped through the defence. If the midfield get further forward under Schumacher that's going to happen more often unless the defence improves.

He’s a very articulate and self assured young man. The closing line of ‘I’ll let the football do the talking’ was brilliant. Looking forward to him being closer to Mmaee and getting some goals and assists

To be honest, I think I'll go back to just supporting the team, keeping any remotely personal shite off this board. That way, nothing can ever come back to bite me on the arse.

Schumacher said: “He seems to get into good areas because he’s got incredible energy, he’s always on the move and that’s probably something that we feel we’re lacking a little bit because the team hasn’t previously been used to being in those types of positions. Finally a manager who can see the bleeding obvious that the previous 4 all couldn't!

Schumacher really does fill me with hope, especially with Junho. He's got bags of potential and could one day be sold for a lot of money but we need to start playing to his strengths to get the best out of him. Hopefully with Cundle and Bae working as 8s we'll see Bae flourish.

I disagree in a way we don’t have to play to his strengths we are still learning what they are but playing him at 8 will hopefully take some of the pressure off for output in numbers now that playing as part of a front three brings.

And it seems to me, You lived your lives without Luke Cundle on the Wing, Playing in the midfield with our Korean king, And his footsteps will always fall here, Upon City’s greenest hills, Luke Cundle finds the net again, And City lead three niiillll Don't give up your day job mate. Unless, of course, your day job is writing the wankest of wank football songs.

Neat, tidy and composed with an impressive number of 3rd man runs forward we've badly missed.
Good start.
