Strongest team possible for me. Not got a game for a week so no reason for resting the little cup cakes. Let's have a go at them and test ourselves.

I think Shuey should rest key players like Burger today. We can ill afford to risk losing players to injuries, we've had too many already this season. Absolutely essential to beat Rotherham next week and ensure momentum, a loss could be disastrous and lead to a relegation atmosphere. We don't need a cup run this season, we need to build for promotion next season. Today is an opportunity to try people out, like youngsters and see what they are capable of and give them first team experience. Also a chance to play some people into form like Baker., and take a hard look at some who may need to be let go this month or decide to keep, and/or put them in the shop window, like Campbell. I don't agree. We really won't get relegated and the FA Cup respresents our last opportunity of of sucking some joy from another failed campaign.

The worlds oldest football competition. And as a founder member of the football league we have a responsibility to take it seriously and put our best 11 out on the pitch. They've got 7 days to recover before Rotherham. Disgraceful to expect fans to turn up and watch a team of kids and bench warmers getting rolled over by bloody Brighton. Embarrassing from Stoke if we do in my opinion.

I would normally agree with you and others posters that we should "have a go", but We are sitting in 19th place, other teams are improving and seeking to strengthen their squads. We are playing the bottom club next week. If we lose that, can you imagine what atmosphere on this MB and in the dressing room will be like? Many, including some players, will say we are on our 5th manager since relegation and nothing has changed. I'm normally all for a cup run, but defeat at Rotherham could prove disastrous for us. Would you sign for a club sitting in 19th place and just lost to the bottom club? We are in a very similar situation to where we were with Hughes and Jones during their last games in charge. We are hope SS can do what MON did, but we have to give him every chance, not get players tired or worse injured playing cup matches. So yes let's hope we win, but not risk our best players, who are key to avoiding relegation.

Not really caught the imagination it seems with our fans I think this is the sad reality of how football has declined in recent years , even 20 years ago this would be a big game for us , a chance to have a go at one of the most attractive teams in the country and people would have been buzzing , now they prefer a run of the mill league game , sad times Football hasn't declined, far from it . The FA didn't do the FA Cup any favours with the semis and taking of cup final day as well with the whole cup final day experience . We need one cup competition and more of an incentive to win it.

Draw the worst result today? Aside from an absolute drubbing.
I'd honestly rather lose than draw.

On actual telly here in NL today.
Well, cable sports TV, but TV that most people have.
Win, lose it draw I feel strangely optimistic.
Re: the draw, the more games this team plays in short under under Schumacher, the better they'll get.

The kids and strays getting a 6 or 7 goal humping does nobody any favours. Cant wrap the better players in cotton wool and they need the match fitness anyway. And they have 7 days to manage their recoveries anyway. And injuries are just luck of the draw anyway. With that said I just hope our best 11 don't get a 6 or 7 goal humping. In which case feel free to come back here and have a laugh at me 😆

Actually feel positive today. Not sure about winning it, but at least giving it a good performance. Guess we'll see.

Is there a delay to kick off ? FA stream seems to show teams still warming up ?

What have they done with the crowd. Looks better concentrated like that. Now get a proper singing section in that corner 😎

Do you get the same commentator in the UK that we get on ESPN and it’s global variants.
Couple of interesting commentary nuggets so far.
