With Iversen coming in I’d play him and the back 4 you want to play against Rotherham too. Get that understanding started.

Looks like there will be a lot of very good away attendances this weekend, not so much for home attendances by the looks of things. I think that’s just the way it is for a lot of clubs in the early rounds now.

I think we played Brighton in the cup in the cup final year and battered them, so what goes around comes around

Brighton could have more fans than us today, I can't imagine many stoke fans being arsed to fork out for this today.

I think we played Brighton in the cup in the cup final year and battered them, so what goes around comes around It was 3-0, 3 headed goals, prime time Rory long throws, added new meaning to the term 'direct'. I remember Brigton fans on social media moaning their bags off and claiming they had played all the 'good football', whatever that might mean.

I see Brighton haven’t got another game for over 2 weeks. So no reason for them not to put out a very strong team in a competition they are obviously good enough to win. And 4,000 fans behind them.
We really need to be up for this one today.

I think Shuey should rest key players like Burger today. We can ill afford to risk losing players to injuries, we've had too many already this season.
Absolutely essential to beat Rotherham next week and ensure momentum, a loss could be disastrous and lead to a relegation atmosphere. We don't need a cup run this season, we need to build for promotion next season.
Today is an opportunity to try people out, like youngsters and see what they are capable of and give them first team experience. Also a chance to play some people into form like Baker., and take a hard look at some who may need to be let go this month or decide to keep, and/or put them in the shop window, like Campbell.

Good turnout that - will we actually have more fans in the ground than them!? Not really caught the imagination it seems with our fans I think this is the sad reality of how football has declined in recent years , even 20 years ago this would be a big game for us , a chance to have a go at one of the most attractive teams in the country and people would have been buzzing , now they prefer a run of the mill league game , sad times

They are my favourite Premier team at the moment, exciting yet disciplined and not one of the big six but upsetting them regularly. How I wish Stoke had gone down their route when we got promoted.
