No surprise.
Wonder if they could get Steve Cooper?
Lee Carsley a good shout. He's a Brummie too, isn't he?

Wayne's world may well change. I would think his managerial career here in the UK could be over.?

Think he should have a word with Ryan Reynolds at Wrexham. He could possibly get Rooney a job as Shreks stunt double😁

It'll be interesting to see who they can attract. Bit of a basket case. For all our problems crazy owners isn't one.

I was hoping they'd limp on, as am going to the Brum match on 20 Jan. Now they'll have a new manager, damn. What a damning indictment of their owners to have shot themselves in the foot like this. Eustace must be having a chuckle to himself. From BBC at time of his appointment: "Wayne is a born winner," Blues co-owner and chairman Tom Wagner said. "We believe, with the support of his coaching staff, the club, and our supporters, he will take Blues forward on the next stage of our journey. "His playing philosophy will help to realise the ambitions we have set for Birmingham City. "Wayne has been preparing for an opportunity like this since he embarked on his coaching education whilst still a player at Manchester United. "He and his staff have the full support of the board and everyone at the football club." Rooney: "I have a clear way that I want the team to play, and my coaching staff and I will work hard to implement it. We will create a winning culture here with an identity that gets Blues fans on their feet." Yes, heading for the exit on 55 minutes.

Second time they have done this. Replaced Rowett with Zola a few years back which failed dismally.

I thought Rooney did well in trying circumstances at Derby, but it was laughable for Brum to sack Eustace just for a big name appointment, and it's probably gone worse than even the most pessimistic Birmingham fan thought.

Colleen will be happy, she can go back to wag lunches instead of trying to run a football team.
Whoever thought appointing him was a great idea should be following him out of the door.

At least I'd heard of him!
Having said that heaven knows why they hired him, he never looked much like officer material to me.

I would imagine Eustace would tell them to F Off if they knocked on his door. I certainly would. To even ask him would suggest a degree of humility that football club owners of this type generally don't possess. As you say, would be priceless to see his reaction if they did.

Cooper has already had talks with them hasn’t he so you’d imagine he’ll get the gig🤔 Looks like Rosenior was the brains behind the outfit when he was at Derby then and did well
