John O'Shea isn't having the best of times either. Needs to get those pubes shaved off his head too.

I was hoping they'd limp on, as am going to the Brum match on 20 Jan. Now they'll have a new manager, damn. What a damning indictment of their owners to have shot themselves in the foot like this. Eustace must be having a chuckle to himself. From BBC at time of his appointment: "Wayne is a born winner," Blues co-owner and chairman Tom Wagner said. "We believe, with the support of his coaching staff, the club, and our supporters, he will take Blues forward on the next stage of our journey. "His playing philosophy will help to realise the ambitions we have set for Birmingham City. "Wayne has been preparing for an opportunity like this since he embarked on his coaching education whilst still a player at Manchester United. "He and his staff have the full support of the board and everyone at the football club." Rooney: "I have a clear way that I want the team to play, and my coaching staff and I will work hard to implement it. We will create a winning culture here with an identity that gets Blues fans on their feet." Yes, heading for the exit on 55 minutes. Good Lord, that's some top level overhyping. I could only wish we didn't have such similar said about AN, trying not to be hypocrites and all lol 😆

I really hope they dont go for Alex Neil, if they do tyou can just imagine him fluking a win vs us I hope they do. Neil is worse than Rooney. I wouldn’t have Neil managing my lads Sunday league team.

Employing 3x different managers each with their own backroom teams through the season at only its half way stage, in the space of four months must surely be starting to hammer their FFP limits. Especially as they've been on thin ice with that the past few seasons anyway?! Eustace & now Rooney being fully paid up or still be on the clubs wage bill can't be healthy financially

Cooper would be nuts to take that. I think his stock is high enough to get a top level job still
Rowett for me if was to have to bet

The sensible thing would be to re-appoint Eustace 1. They’d be publicly stating that they’d made a massive mistake for the wrong reasons. Can’t see them doing it 2. If offered Eustace (career wise) would be on a hiding to nothing. I’d be surprised if offered he’d rejoin.

If I was Eustace I'd be tempted to get legal advice regarding compensation for reputation damage, let alone go back to working for them.

Id imagine their owners egos wil stop them going back for Eustace
Its bad enough for them having to sack their man Rooney, going back for Eustace woukd just make them look worse especially given all the shite they came out with when they appointed Rooney

Went from 6th to 20th, 2 wins from 15 and from watching the highlights the home fans had turned against him. Completely wrong and embarrassing decision by Birmingham Board so we'll deserved outcome. Not that I care but their next decision will be make or break.

Was an interesting chat about this on Talksport this morning with White & Jordan.
Garry Cook is the current Blues CEO & he's thought to be the main footy brains behind the operation at St Andrews, & very much the intermediary to the new American Owners Wagner & Brady. Guessing he may hold a similar role to Ricky Martin..
Now Cook was the one who knows Rooney & his agent well and was instrumental in them sacking Eustace & bringing Rooney in. Cooks the one who was presenting Rooney at his initial press conference & basically saying Rooney would be turning the club in a new exciting direction with them & that Rooney was the man to deliver for them. That's some claim to make & as was widely expected at the time, the whole appointment has been a disaster for Blues.
Now Cook may appear on this incident alone to be bit of a novice or appear incompetent at this kind of thing (who else would sack a manager doing so well & who the fans like, for someone who was a great player but who possesses a poor to average footy manager record!) but he was infact CEO of Man City between 2008-2011 so definitely knows a thing or two about working at a successful footy club! He's also had high ranking roles at Nike & the Saudi Professional League on his CV!
Simon Jordan said the only credential Rooney currently offers a footy club, & a meaningful reason for anybody in a position of power at a footy club ro have for appointing Wayne Rooney to be your clubs manager is for autograph hunters! As whilst there is no questioning his abilities when he was a player, appointing him as a manager on the basis of what his managerial record shows is a gross misconduct & dereliction of duty!
So it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out, especially how The CEO & owners of BCFC move forward from this & it starts to become clear who is really calling the shots.
Are the Americans pulling the strings and going against their CEO advice by sacking his mate & personal recommendation for Rooney to become manager, or is the CEO going to end up falling on his sword with the American Owners thinking they know the business better than their own appointmented footy man does?

He did a really poor job at Birmingham and so rightly got the sack, but it's horrific for him, ignoring the money that he doesn't need, it's put a massive dent into his management career and he's said he's previously struggled with mental health, I can only imagine this makes it harder.
From what has been written about him I can't decide whether he is emotionally bright (conflicting reports) or whether he needs to spend time learning the coaching/tactical side only and then he'll be a good manager.

Rooney to be offered a lifeline at Stoke as interim Attacking Coach after he has spent some time with his family. Just to help ease him back into the game, like.

Anyone else think that how "Blues" isn't prefixed with the word "the" just sounds and reads awkward? Or is it just me?

Let's hope he ends up at Salford with his muckers.
Then takes them into the National League.
I hate the little scrote.

I've seen Cooper is all but done. A great manager and appointment if true. Terrible move for him if so. Moving to a crap, cash (FFP) strapped Championship club, with a hair trigger happy owner, when he is a shoe in for the next lower/mid Prem side to push the button.
