I'm definitely in this camp . I keep thinking about that 4 game purple patch in March when we looked like we would batter anyone. Then we lost at home to Bristol City and the wheels well and truly came off. I think he has been a breath of fresh air ,but the true test will come how we respond to a defeat. That's unless we go unbeaten for the rest of the season and go storming up the league This completely, some have gone way over the top about him, talking about him getting headhunted. He may well be, but talk of it after two games🤣 I guess if I wanted a even, balanced view I shouldn’t be looking on the Oatcake for it! This. Don’t get me wrong I really like him. He seems to be the real deal. But he doesn’t walk on water. Yet.

Speaking with a Preston fan yesterday, and we both thought he must have been the brains behind Ryan Lowe at Plymouth

Again I think this is firmly the honeymoon phase talking. If Neil or MON had taken off our best striker at 1-1 against ten men we’d have been much less understanding. He’s obviously got a bit of credit in the bank and is only in the door but it was still a fairly big fuck up imo. I don’t recall Big Wes coming on in either of the two previous games, I can forgive him for thinking it was time to see what he can do. Big Wes isn’t a footballer in a million years and I think Schuey can see that. He probably expected Wesley to be a handful, put himself about, lean on defenders to wear them out a bit more and show what he is all about. Wesley hasn't covered himself in glory since he's been here, I really wouldn't mind him going in January.

Course we should. The bloke isn't a robot, he's human like anyone on here and it's basic human nature to make mistakes. As long as he learns from the mistake then that's a good thing. Again I think this is firmly the honeymoon phase talking. If Neil or MON had taken off our best striker at 1-1 against ten men we’d have been much less understanding. He’s obviously got a bit of credit in the bank and is only in the door but it was still a fairly big fuck up imo. It isn't the honeymoon talking at all, not in my case anyways. If AN/MON had owned up to making a mistake I'd be fine with it because people make mistakes, it's how they deal with it, own it and learn from it that counts. That goes for anyone, not just a football manager. The key difference between SS and AN/MON is that SS is clearly more open to admitting his mistakes, whereas AN/MON weren't. AN was very much "I understand football, you peasants don't", MON was more diplomatic. And no one is saying it wasn't a big fuck up either. It absolutely was, SS has owned the mistake which makes a refreshing change and now it's about showing he's learnt from it.

I hope there’s a lot more difference between him and previous managers that simply admitting his mistakes. From what I’ve seen and read I hope he’s tactically better, a better man manager and a decent coach.
