I’m uncomfortable. It’s all too positive. I’m not sure I’ve seen such a uniform wave of positivity on this board. Ever. Pulis divided fans. Even Hughes did. And he was a miserable bastard at the best of times. We won’t even mention the ones who have followed them. Can’t think of any manager who united the fans apart from Macari. And he took a while to get there. So, forgive my pessimism, but this feels too easy. The test will be when we play poorly, get hammered and/or have players throwing their toys out of the pram. I’m reserving judgement for at least another month or two. That said, he seems to be doing a fantastic job so far… I'm definitely in this camp . I keep thinking about that 4 game purple patch in March when we looked like we would batter anyone. Then we lost at home to Bristol City and the wheels well and truly came off. I think he has been a breath of fresh air ,but the true test will come how we respond to a defeat. That's unless we go unbeaten for the rest of the season and go storming up the league

Hmmmmm.
I like that he admits his mistake.
But would prefer if he hadn’t made it.

So refreshing to hear a manager say he’s made a mistake which it was but I and everyone else should be ok with this.
He has improved us with his positive approach long May he reign

At least he’s taking accountability which is a big thing considering some of the personalities we’ve had managing us recently. This will also rub off onto the players to make a safe environment for them to make mistakes, be accountable for them, and improve from them. It’s one of the best ways to improve, by learning from mistakes. Hopefully more often then not, they happen in training.

He has improved us with his positive approach long May he reign We should be ok with mistakes if he admits to them? Course we should. The bloke isn't a robot, he's human like anyone on here and it's basic human nature to make mistakes. As long as he learns from the mistake then that's a good thing.

Do you keep making them? That’s what matters.

It's also a great way of saying we need better off the bench without implying it was their fault. It's just a perfect set up for so many reasons.

The players already look to be playing with more freedom, and willing to try a pass or a ‘flick’. Might be risky, but the rewards will be there. It’s got to be a better environment for them to play football!!

As long as he learns from the mistake then that's a good thing. Again I think this is firmly the honeymoon phase talking. If Neil or MON had taken off our best striker at 1-1 against ten men we’d have been much less understanding. He’s obviously got a bit of credit in the bank and is only in the door but it was still a fairly big fuck up imo.

We should be ok with mistakes if he admits to them? You don’t make any then? I do. Everyone does. But admitting to them doesn’t change the fact they’re fuck ups. It was something that I heard a couple of Plymouth fans mention. He makes lots of changes. Possibly too many. Hopefully it’s a case of learning from mistakes as well as admitting to them.

He may well be, but talk of it after two games🤣 I guess if I wanted a even, balanced view I shouldn’t be looking on the Oatcake for it!

I think that’s more waving a white flag than identifying a tactical mistake after your 3rd game in charge 👍🏻

I don’t recall Big Wes coming on in either of the two previous games, I can forgive him for thinking it was time to see what he can do. Big Wes isn’t a footballer in a million years and I think Schuey can see that.

He’s three games in and the signs are positive. But to suggest he’s the only manager we’ve had who’s admitted his mistakes is, to be blunt, bollocks. Positive bollocks annoys me. Negative bollocks annoys me. And to reiterate, I like him. I hope he delivers on his obvious potential.
